What's great about it: Their size versus the great sound
What's not so great: Very low end bass response
I bought these speakers site unseen and without every listening to them. I was presently surprised how great they sound. They are bright and have excellent freq. range. For most listeners there is no need to have a sub-woofer with these speakers. They look great and fit nicely next to a 42" LCD flat screen TV. I bought these speakers to replace a pair of ADS-1290 floor speakers in order to down size. Of course, they do not sound as rich as the 1290's but they work great for waht I was looking for. They are also very attractively built.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Full, rich, clear sound
What's not so great: Not cheap
I bought these from Magnolia to be wall-mounted next to our plasma TV. They both look and sound great. Even our salesperson at BB (who was initially recommending purchasing a subwoofer even though we were only looking for 2-channel audio) agreed that their response range is so full, they can easily be used without a subwoofer to get very nice sound. We have a separate home theater for watching movies, but for watching HD TV, these speakers are highly recommended.
Talk to Chet at Def Tech if you want to learn how to wall-mount these with positionable mounts (which you can also buy at BB).
I would recommend this to a friend!
