What's great about it: Price, portable
What's not so great: warps and curls over time
What are we reviewing here people? We are supposed to be reviewing this cheap mat, but I'm reading reviews on the chair. Sure, the mat is a great value if you only use it for staging your home. But, if you plan to get any practical use out of it, FORGET ABOUT IT! The corners curl up really bad over time and the shape warps. Yes, I recommend this only if you are on a tight budget and don't want to spend the extra money to get a good one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's great about it: compact for transporting from store to home
What's not so great: edges have rolled up, making tripping hazard
After a few months, the edges have turned up enough so that when I roll off onto commercial carpet (firm) and try to roll back onto the chair mat, it catches the chair rollers - very irritating!

What's great about it: was a good price for the chair and mat
What's not so great: haven't found any yet
Was skeptical of the chair at first but felt I should give it a try. So far it has been a very comfortable chair. the mat has worked great chair roll on top of it with no problems. I have had them both for about a month and half with out any problems. I purchased both at the same time as I felt the chair was part of the package. As it turned out the chair worked great with the chair mat for at a desk and the mat works great on my carpet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: It's sturdy and I like the way it folds.
This is a ten for me! I like the idea that you can fold it up. My previous one was not. It appears sturdy also.

Garbage out. You get what you pay for sometimes! The corners are curving up and chair get stuck on them easy!

What's great about it: Does what it is supposed to do.
Good price for this product. I wanted a larger chair mat for the home, and saw this folded one. I was worried that it wouldn't be heavy enough to lay flat after it was opened, or that the folds would make it weak there. Neither issue has come up and it is performing well!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Look, you get what you pay for. This was reasonably priced and it delivers a comfortable fit and quality construction. Directions were easy if you just follow them. I am pleased with it and I am looking forward to many more hrs in the seat with my daughter and I playing learning games.

This product is totally what you would expect at this low price. The mat is probably not made for wood floors, but it works fine on carpet. The chair is pretty sturdy. I don't know how else to describe the chair except to say you get what you pay for. In this case, it's an ok chair for $30. If I spent 8 hours a day in a chair, I would step up and buy a more expensive one.

What's great about it: folds up, easy to set up, stays put on carpet
This fits perfectly under my desk (which also has a printer and wheeled drawer cart under it) and chair, with just enough room for me to push back from the desk and get up without (a) falling off the mat or (b) having no space between my bed and the mat and thus tripping over it all the time. I spend a lot of time in the chair, and I'm pleased that the creases where it folds up have held up very well even on my fairly plush carpet!
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Works fine on my thicker carpet. Stays in place. Well priced. Haven't had a single problem out of it.
What's not so great: Depending on the chair you use, the mat itself scratches easily.
I'm not too sure what everyone's complaining about with this mat... I've personally got three of them in my room. People were saying that it's not good on wood floors. And they're right. This mat wasn't meant for wood flooring, or any other hard surface at all.
If you look at the bottom of the mat, there are little pegs that stick in your carpet to keep it from moving around. Don't worry, doesn't harm the carpet any. But of course it's not great on wood flooring. It'll scratch it up. It is small, but it's to be expected. It wasn't intended for you to roll all over the room. If you need more space for a bigger desk, get two and set them side-by-side or invest in a larger mat. Personally I've had them for about a year, and really the only thing that's ever gone wrong is the mat itself scratches if you use a heavier chair. But that was my own fault not a defect of the product.

I've rolled off of them a time or two and it's not too horrible getting back on the mat. It just depends on your carpet. As for the edges rolling up or it breaking; never had the problem. Quite the opposite actually. When you put this mat on the floor it's not going anywhere unless you move it.
If you use the mat as intended you won't have a single problem, they work rather well.

This is the worst product I have ever bought. I bought it to protect my wood floor , instead it left tiny holes ever where. I am so upset I am taking this product back first thing tomorrow. DO NOT PURCHASE!

This is, by far, the worst purchase I've made in a long time. Lets list whats wrong with this:
1.) Its small. You won't be doing much of any rolling on this thing. If you sit stationary its good, but then if you have a chair that doesn't roll why have a mat?
2.) If you roll off, you're not getting back on. I use this on carpet and every time I roll of it I curse myself.
3.) The worst - every single edge is off the ground. Weight in the middle of this thing(where your chair will be) causes the corners to bow up. You'll trip over it, you'll roll off and never get back on, and trying to roll back on with the flipped up corners will snap the plastic.

What's not so great: This is too small.
The mat is nice and thick. Unfortunately,when my chair rolls off the mat, it gets stuck and does not roll easily back on because the mat is so thick. I think as time goes by, and the mat sinks deeper into the carpet, this may become less of an issue.
The chair rolls off quite often because the mat is so small. I read the measurments, but didn't realize what a tiny area I have to work with while at my desk.
I urge anyone thinking about buying this to physically measure the area out by their desk. This is disappointing-- it is unreasonably small.
I think I'm going to buy another one just like this and use the two of them together.

I weigh 250 and most mats don't last long under my chair. This one is great!! It is sturdy enough to protect the carpet yet flexible enough to support me with out breaking.
Unlike most roll-up mats, this doesn't take three or four days to flatten out. All you have to do is unfold it and it's flat. Ready for a fat cat!!

It's a nice mat - it's just not what I wanted. I needed a mat to protect my wood floor, but this comes with spikes on the bottom to dig into rugs. Make sure this is what you want.
