What's great about it: very spacious, good price
"frig is exactly what I was looking for lots of room the price was even less that what I was expecting to pay. I would recommend this frig to anyone and everyone. The only thing I am not pleased with is I ordered the service plan and the working hours of their company (Metro Service) were not explained to me. I only need them to come and switch the door handles from one side to another but their working hours are from 9-5 like every other working american oh ! and no weekend hours. This wouldn't be an issue but I would of expected more availability considering it's an optional service. but I loooove my frig!"

What's great about it: Freezer on the bottom. No need to bend over to retrieve items from the refridgerator
What's not so great: Shelving durability is sub-standard
"Overall, this product functions well in my cabin kitchen. However, the shelving I have found to be weak, especially the full shelf. If you put anything heavy on it, it bows."

What's great about it: The drawers and shelves are easy to move around. It doesn't hit my dog when I open the fridge door.
What's not so great: It didn't even come with ice cube trays and I can't find ice cube trays at the store.
"This is a wonderful fridge for the price. I have had zero problems with it after owning it for a couple months. I absolutely love it since I don't really care about all the expensive bells and whistles that other fridges have. Having the freezer on the bottom has really saved my back!"

"I deliberated long and hard over my refrigerator purchase. My last one (a Whirlpool) lasted for 14 years, so I knew this would be a long-term decision. I made the right choice. I have been so pleased by the size (it's amazing what this thing holds), the organization and the efficiency. And the delivery and installation went smoothly as well."

"I bought this refrigerator 4 years, and I am happy with my purchase. It is so convenient to have the refrigerator on top where things can be easily located. I do not however like the "beeping" when the refrigerator/freezer door is open too long."

"I love the fridge itself, the shelving and door compartments are awesome. I was under the belief that it came with an ice maker and it does not. Who doesn't want an ice maker? I love the fridge but it's inconvenient to have to order an ice maker seperate."

"We have been using this fridge for the past 5 months and we are very happy with it. We needed a simple and reliable fridge with bottom freezer for a decent price - and that's exactly what this fridge is. One nice extra feature: it beeps when you leave it open for longer time. It took us a while to find out that it was not the smoke detector or burglar alarm beeping :-)"

"I have had the frig for 2 weeks and I am really enjoying it, it has just enough space and I love the frig on top and the freezer on bottom. I like the ability to control the temps. digitally. The beeping noise is great when the door it left open.. especially for letting me know that my little one is in the fridge"

Worst decision ever

"This refrigerator broke down 6 months after we bought it. The fridge keeps cool through an air-flow system that flows from the freezer to the fridge. The air-flow passage froze and the digital temperature setting board has fried. The same thing happened again 6 months later. I don't recommend an LG refrigerator to anyone. When I called LG to have it fixed, they said it was too far out of warranty to cover it. I had to call and complain 10 times in order to get them to cover it and there was no guarantee that it wouldn't break down again in another 6 months. If you can't live without this refrigerator make sure you invest in the 5 year extended-warranty....you're going to need it."

"I went from a freezer on top to this model and LOVE it! Best move I ever made. - There is PLENTY of room (and I feed a family of five!) and it's easy for kids (and short people like myself!) to get into. It's far more energy efficient than the 20yr old model we had before. I would recommend this refrig to anyone who's looking for something AFFORDABLE and user-friendly."
