SynopsisAt the end of The King of Iron Fist Tournament 4, father and son waged a battle at Honmaru in the Mishima Zaibatsu headquarters. The son was the victor, but spared his father's life. Just then an attack of Jacks surprised these two warriors, and father and son fought to repel this new threat. Kazuya betrays his father, using the old man's death as a chance to escape, and soon after Honmaru is destroyed in a massive explosion. Word soon spreads of Heihachi Mishima's death. Many people believed Heihachi's demise would lead to the end of the Mishima Zaibatsu, yet someone else takes control and things function just as they did before. A month later, the announcement comes that the Mishima Zaibatsu will hold the King of the Iron Fist Tournament 5. What's great about it: combos, graphics, speed What's not so great: takes alot of skill
"this is one of the best fighting games ever. the depth of game is amazing. each char has at least 75moves and some chars have more then 120moves. since there are alot of characters and very little duplication there is an immense number of ways to play."

What's great about it: Adventure mode, customization of the old characters. What's not so great: None really.
"The first five I have given while reviewing any game. This has always been a great game, and even more so now, because of customization, and Adventure mode. The new customization screen allows you to change the clothing that the charters wear, as well as put excessories on them. I love the adventure mode. You get to run around, while having a punch-kick combo to use against enemies. I have no bad thing to say about this game."

"tekken is easily the greatest fighting game series ever, the engine is just perfect. the combos and moves feel right, the hits are good, and tekken 5 has cool physics and effects that improve everything. if your a tekken or fighting game fan, pick up this game, it doesnt get old fast."

"I've had this game for a while now, it has been the best tekken game and one of the best fighting AND is one of the best PS2 games I have ever played. It has beautiful graphics, many many characters to choose from, many fun modes to play, character customization, and even past Tekken games! It's at a great new low price too $20, so everyone who loves Tekken(Like Me!) or just awesome fighting games in general, should go out now and buy this game! You won't regret it."

"Tekken has tweaked and come a long way and had 3 iterations on PS2 alone! And with the anticipated tekken 6 on its next platform of PS3. But until then, this is the best tekken available. A slew of customizable looking characters duke it out with real martial arts styled combat. With the likes of a Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan inpired characters. All characters have easily over 25 moves and the combinations are only to your imagination as you feel the crunch of every impact delivered thru this beautiful progressive scan-able game. And as usual, the tekken for console brings side games and distractions for yet more value. Easily a top 25 game of ps2 history!"
