I LOVE this game!

What's great about it: A lot to do, addicting, you have your own little world where you can do whatever you want!
What's not so great: you can get a little bored after a while
"This is the best game that I own! Seriously! You can do a lot in this game, like fishing, bug catching, and fossil hunting! You can make a lot of renovations to your home and Nook's store, turning your humble cottage into a mansion and Nook's into a two-floor department store! I've had this game for 2 or 3 years and I have gotten sick of it, but I have a simple remedy: don't play it for a little while and the boredness goes away! I CRAVE Animal Crossing! It's the addiction at work! It is such a fun game! Matter of fact, I'm playing it right now! I would DEFINITELY recommend this to a friend, but all of my friends that have a DS have Animal Crossing!"

What's great about it: Pretty Much everything, worth the price, addicting
What's not so great: Gets boring after about a year
"This game is great. I bought it and its price was defintely worth it. In this game, the seasons change, from sunlight to moonlight and more. I got so addicted to this, but i will honestly say i hadn't played the game in three months bevause it will get boring after a year. It still is worth the money because of the excitement it will fill you with. In the beginning it is a bit confusing ( I didnt read the manuel it comes with) but it was fantastic.
I would recommend this to anyone that loves excitement
THERE ARE LOTS of cheats which makes it even more fun sometimes!
Defintely buy this game! I have recommended this game to my friends and they all bought it!!!!! They love it and are obsessed"

What's great about it: Easy to learn, fun, and appeals to a wide age group.
What's not so great: Not very challenging.
"This is one of those games that people either love or don't care about at all. If you find the idea of steering a character that looks somewhat like a Raggedy Ann or Andy doll through a town of animals to be too cutesy, then this game is not for you. I love this game partly because it is cute but also because, after three years of owning it, I am still finding new things. You play in real time, so if it's 10:00 PM where you are, it's the same time in the game. The seasons and the weather also change. There are different things that come with each season. Catch crickets in the fall, build snowman in the winter, watch fireworks in the summer. I still haven't caught every variety of bug or fish yet. If you liked the Game Cube version, then you should love this. It appeals from people aged 8 to 80."

What's great about it: easy to play, always changing (very intricate), good interaction with other characters, lots of unlockables and cheats
What's not so great: none that I can think of...
"I LOVE this game. I am a 28 year old female professional, and I pick this up to relax when I come home from work. The game is so well-done on many levels, and because of the real-time setup, it is constantly changing the game play. (I have not yet used the clock change capability!) I love that there are well over 100 characters who come in and out of the town, so each day is different as far as what items will be available in the store, how characters are feeling, who will have moved in and out, etc. Special events and holidays add to the mystery too, as do secrets like shooting stars, how to make friends, designing clothing, etc.
I liked Sims on the computer, but I wasn't totally into it. I enjoy this game a lot more. I would highly recommend this game to people of all ages, especially those that enjoy simulation games."

"I really liked this game when I got it and then the money amont got too big. But then I got the action replay for the ds and I loved the game all over agin. I also have a friend with this game and we have a lot of fun! And If you are saying oh we half to get the action replay to have fun then you are sort of right but action replay is really fun for a lot of games!"

What's great about it: everyday is different and everyone always has something new to say.
What's not so great: none
"i have been hooked on this game since it came out for game cube. it's like sims but better! you a weird looking animal that lives in a town that you create. you have your own home that you work to pay off by growing and selling crops, fishing or catching bugs. you make friends and even set special times for things to happen. it's always fun to do the sunday morning fishing tourniment. time passes at the same rate that our does so if it's 7:00 pm then its the same time on the game. just like us the game goes through seasons and with each season come differnt fish and bugs. also you residents will come and go. i really enjoy linking up with my mom in this game (she's been playing the same game for 2 years) and going to her town to talk and vist. anyone could get into this game!!!"

What's great about it: The Whole Game
What's not so great: None
"I got this game around the time that it came out and I'm still playing it. If you're into the whole you have a goal to reach type of thing, it's fun. There's no set times for anything (unless you're doing a task for one of your animal friends) and you can basically just wander around and do whatever you want for the whole game. This is the best game I have ever bought, and it has given me countless hours of entertainment. This game is amazing and fun and definitely recommended to anyone that likes cute animals!"

"I love Animal crossing. You can style your house anyway you want, meet new neighbors, or even visit friends. I really enjoyed remodeling my house. I got to buy all kinds of furniture. The game does get boring if you forget to play it. You end up having weeds all over your town. Pulling them all out takes a long time. Other then that though the game is awesome!"

"This game is amazing! I play it all the time. They only bad thing I could ever think of even though it isn't all that bad is it is much more fun to play it with a friend so talk a friend into getting it to. Also the Players guide which I also purchased is very very helpful for first-time players and to people who have played this game many times. I got it 6 months after I puchased the game and half the things in their I didn't know about. So check that book out and get the game already!"

What's great about it: You Can Go Online, And Do Even More
"I love this game so much. It is my favorite game so far that I've played. You can go online and play with other people. You can go to a barber shop and get your hair style recreated. You can go to Tom Nook's store and purchase things. It goes with the same season that your in! Overall 10 out of 5 stars. Yes I mean 10!"
