What's great about it: Every feature works great - great for popcorn, auto-defrosting, and auto-reheating
What's not so great: Could not find it available at Best Buy
We’ve had the microwave for 2 weeks now and so far we love it. We’ve used all the features. My kids say it’s the best microwave they’ve ever used for making popcorn. My wife says the Auto-Defrost feature works great – the only down side is if you don’t know the weight of the meat you’re defrosting, you have to throw it on a scale to effectively use the feature – but that’s no big deal for us, we already had a scale so now the scale sits next to the microwave. I’ve used the Reheat feature and I have no complaints – so far everything has come out just fine – no more guessing as to what power level and how long to heat it up. We have also noticed how well it cooks everything evenly – no more overcooked edges and undercooked centers. The microwave is easy to use – we only had to check the manual once to make sure we understood how the auto-defrost feature works. It’s roomy enough for everything we want to cook. Our only complaint is how light-weight the door seems – but I feel if we show it respect and don’t slam it shut like we did with our old microwave (a Kenmore that lasted 25 years – bought back in the late 70’s) it should last a long time. FYI - I could not find this at Best Buy – but Best Buy was my first choice because their extended warranty is the cheapest and the most reliable in my opinion. I ended up purchasing this microwave from another online website without the extended warranty.
I would recommend this to a friend!
