What's great about it: Everything!!. Clean Bass that Thunders
What's not so great: Nothing
I went to Best Buy to buy the Polk PS110 which is a 10" with 100 Watts RMS. The Salesperson that was helping me suggested the Klipsch 10". We listened to both of them side by side with the main speakers turned off. The Klipsch was so much louder and more powerful that I made him check the volume on each Sub to make sure it wasn't turned up more than the Polk, but they were both set to just a little past halfway. Wow was I impressed with how much cleaner and more powerful the Klipsch was. The Polk was descent but not in the same league as the Klipsch 10".
I was still debating if the Klipsch was worth the extra $150.00 compared to the Polk so the Salesperson was able to reduce the Klipsch $50.00 on the spot so I made the decision and bought it, and then I worried all the way home about spending the extra money, GEEZ !
After hearing the quality and power of this sub there were no regrets about this purchase. This thing Thunders!!!! Clean with no distortion. It adds nice thump at low volumes also. Blends in nicely with my Home Theater which is ,Harmon Kardon Receiver, Bose 201 Mains, Bose VCS10 Center Bose 161 Surrounds.
Do yourself a favor and spend the extra bucks on the Klipsch 10", you won't regret it.

What's great about it: Crisp Bass, Stylish Design, Well Built
What's not so great: Nothing Yet!
I bought this to go with the Klipsch Quintet. The Sub is Amazing! It def. met my expectations. I am a fan of Klipsch to begin with so I had high hopes for this sub. Before even hooking it up I noticed how well the sub fit into my decor and how well built it is. It is very solid and sturdy. It was an easy setup and works great. The bass is perfect at low volumes and can rattle my walls at high volumes. I have had this turned up to nearly full volume and it has never distorted. Well worth it. Don't settle for a cheaper/lesser quality speaker. You will get what you pay for.

What's great about it: Deep bass, easy to use interface, simple connections, beautiful blue floor light
What's not so great: Price is a bit steep for the average teen
This subwoofer is fantastic. It has the deepest, clearest bass I have heard, especially for the price. The cone is a paper cone, though. I am not a big fan of paper cones, because I have had several blow out on me from regular use. This one seems to be holding up just fine after several months of action film and loud rock music abuse. It does not distort, I have attempted to distort the bass several times. The range is incredible, as it reaches the high and low end notes with no difficulty. I am very pleased with my purchase and have heard nothing but good things about Klipsch.

What's great about it: Very Powerful
What's not so great: Could look more aggressive
This is one best subwoofers I have ever had the privledge to listen to. From the looks of the picture you would be surprised by the actual sound. This speaker has a very large cabinet, it requiress a very large space. If you were to knock on the cabinet you would expect the sound to be boxy. But it is completely rock solid. It has a bottom firing 10 inch woofer. The rear port is extremely large. It is about 4-5 inches in diameter. This allows for very low noise and turbulence. Care needs to be taken with the feet, they will break easily. The sound is very well defined even in corners. Klipsch suggests that you place the sub in the corner of your room. THX will tell you not to but the sub was built to be placed in the corner. The sound is not muddy or undefined. Volume control is not at all sloppy. This sub is very very powerful, if you own an apartment this is not the sub for you. This is the type of sub that blends almost perfectly with your front speakers and the sub does not make itself known. I highly recommened this sub for music and movies.

What's great about it: Exactly as described in the main description
What's not so great: Bulky
Best Buy is offering a bundle of Klipsch Speakers & Subwoofer with a Yamaha Receiver for $955. I was originally going to buy Bose until I started reading reviews on surround sound systems. Those reviews stated that Polk or Klipsch have better systems than what Bose offers without the pricetag. Can't always believe what ya read, so I went to BB and spoke to a saleman who felt this was the system to get. Still wasn't sure (almost $1000 - I wanted to be positive) I did more internet searching - Father's Day was just around the corner - so I decide to buy it. Go back and they are SOLD OUT. Fortunately, according to the internet, the BB who stated they had the entire system only had one left - and I (my husband) got it. So, here's the point - if your on the fence about a system - get off it and get this bundle. What a deal! If you only need the sub - you will be very happy with this one!

Bought this Sub-Woofer along when I purchased my Klipsch - Synergy Series Quintet III 5-Piece Home Theater Speaker System. They are a perfect match. Clean ambient sound not a lot of loud booming like you get with the cheap stuff. Spend the bucks and get this Sub-Woofer, you will like it and your ears will love it too. Cyberbill, Covington, La.

What's great about it: the power
I've had this for about 4 months and I must say this is a great sub. I have not been disappointed with this sub. In my last apartment I was afraid to have my surround sound system any higher than -15db because of the bass produced by this sub. When I did have it higher than -15db, things in my apartment shook because of the power and I thought if my stuff was shaking I couldn't imagine the people below me since this is a downward shooting sub. I haven't tried it out at my new apartment yet, but I will definitely see how powerful this sub really is.

What's great about it: The price and the deep bass
The Klipsch sub10 is a pretty powerful sub. I have it hooked up to a yamaha receiver which I also bought at Bestbuy. I bought the sub for around $250 on sale and I can not complain for the price and the output of this subwoofer. The subwoofer is much bigger than most subwoofers. I personally like the look of the subwoofer and the blue power button on the front of it. The price difference compared to the Klipsch sub12 just made me go with the sub10 when it was on sale. I would recommend either one because they are both powerful sobwoofers and the regular price is even reasonable compared to other subwoofers out there.

What's great about it: Sound quality,
What's not so great: Price is higher than i would have liked to pay, but hey you pay for what you get right.
I will get straight to the point here i have messed with alot of sterio equipment over the years, and i must say if you are in the market for a sub for your home you have found it. This sub will rock your house hands down. If you want hard fast bass or soft low bass that carrys this will do that and then some. Yes i will say the price is a little hard to swallow, but you pay for what you get when it comes to this stuff. I tested all others, and none compare to this one. Yes the appearance isnt as good as some others, but lets be clear here i wasnt shopping for style i want sound.

What's great about it: The sound, price, did i mention the sound?
What's not so great: Could be cheaper... everything is better when it's cheaper
Just to let you know, i've sang in choir my entire life, i play the guitar, and piano. Music is a big part of my life, and so therefore sound is very important. I love watching movies at home. I first started out with little speakers the THX certified Logitech Z-2300, then played through my laptop with a creative sound blaster sound card, hooked up to that was the THX certified Logitech Z-5300.
Then I started to learn more about Digital outs like optical, coaxial, and HDMI, then upgraded my surround system to the THX certified Logitech Z-5500. I Loved the sounds that were coming from these speakers but it never really impressed me. Sure they were always great for music but when it came down to movies, the subwoofer would never be loud when i wanted it to be loud.
I then upgraded my system to the Yamaha RX-V363BL 500 Watt 5.1-Channel Home Theater Receiver, i kept the satellite speakers that came with it and ditched the subwoofer for this behemoth of a subwoofer. I was on the prowl for a new subwoofer and was just lucky enough to stumble on this sale that only lasted for 2 days that made the subwoofer $279.99.
I tested the speakers with the movies cloverfield, and transformers, and let the right one in (a swedish vampire movie). This is by far one of the best subwoofers I have ever had the privledge of being in the same room with. I have never literally jolted in my seat before when someone in the movie knocked on the door.
My sisters fiance bought a paradigm Seismic 10 for about 2 grand. And i can confidentally say that my little subwoofer rivals his. This is a great speaker, with a great price. Purchase this subwoofer with ease of mind that you will be getting a great product.

What's great about it: Super range of sounds. Puts you right in the action!
What's not so great: That crazy blue light is way too bright.
I have owned other subwoofers, always going the cheap route but this time I spend the right amount and the result blew me away. You hear and feel all the low frequency sounds and this product adds a new dimension to movie watching. I'm using a Monster subwoofer cable and I'm sure that doesn't hurt. Warning ... turn down the dials or your neighbors will feel the action too. Sidenote: that blue light is so bright ... I don't know what Klipsch was thinking. I put a opaque piece of black tape over it and it toned it down just fine.

What's great about it: EVERYTHING
What's not so great: can't control it with my HARMONY remote
I am sorry to say that i did not buy it at BEST BUY. Only 'cause the other store had it on clearance (liquidation sale) "c.c." . I did not even like going into this store. Best Buy did not have it in stock plus that weekend was my birthday i saved over $100 on the sub. I was so excited couldn't wait to get home but stopped at B.B. to purchase the MONSTER CABLE THX SUB CABLE. Also a great product. This SUB did NOT disapoint every thing i listen to from movies, music, NATGEO, DISC, HIST, it all sounds great. Guess what even the WIFE was impressed. I still can't believe how great it sounds. After experimenting on it's location in my MAN CAVE "BULLITT'S BACK ROOM". I also discovered that going onto the KLIPSCH web site it gave tips on placing the sub atleast six inches away from wall. This really helped out, this sub is a great addition to my theater system. A YAMAHA RX-V361 component, KLIPSCH SYNERGY QUINTET III THEATER SYSTEM, HITACHI 50" plasma, and SONY BLU-RAY player.

I could'nt be happier with this sub. I replaced a 100 watt sony subwoofer I have had for years. I am thrilled I did! When I hooked it up, I had to watch Cloverfield on Blu Ray. It shook the frames on the walls throughout my house!!(watch Cloverfield to impress friends) It has more bass than is heard in my local theatre. I love this subwoofer, and I look forward to watching plenty of movies with this beast of a sub.

What's great about it: Solid tight lows, not boomy, fills my medium / large media room, good with music & movies
What's not so great: only con is the size, this sucker is bulky
I'm a newbie to high end sound systems but I did research quite a bit before buying this. I was going to go with the Mirage OMNI S8, but came across a good deal on this Klipsch and went for this one instead. I freakin love it. I've played some Jack Johnson, All American Rejects, even some country and they all sounded great. Then just watched Saving Private Ryan and felt the walls shake. Couldn't be happier with this thing.

This is a totally awesome speaker. The sound is great and there are plenty of options on the back. Unless your room is over 500 square feet you probably do not need a larger unit. I would recommend this to the entry level audiofile and even the more serious person too.
