What's great about it: Quieter than old stove hood
What's not so great: Installation problems and quality
The good: fan is relatively quiet for how much air it moves. At lowest setting it's so quiet you can forget it's on when you step a few feet away. The lights (not included) provide a good level of brightness when they work but....
The bad: I've tried halogen and LED lights, but both flicker to some extent depending on combinations of light level and fan speed. Included directions are poor and good luck contacting customer support because they seem to work hours at their leisure. Absolutely no weekend support. Was missing some hardware and had to cannibalize my old stove hood to complete installation.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
