What's great about it: Works great on wood floors
What's not so great: Cant get filters
We just wore ours out after 2 years, use it 3 times a day on our wood floors (we have little kids), the beater thing is not turning now. We'll just buy another one. We really beat up vacuums anyway.

What's great about it: Good manuverability
What's not so great: Doesn't stand up on its own, terrible suction, small waste bin.
The main problem with this unit is that it doesn't get the job done. I wasn't expecting incredible suction, but this doesn't even pick up very small pieces of paper or large crumbs. It picks up some cat hair, but that is about it. I wouldn't buy it again.

What's great about it: Works good for quick clean ups
What's not so great: Battery dies after 15 minutes max
Love using it for quick pick ups but wont pick up anything big bad suction, horrible battery life, and once it dies it takes forever to charge, I usually have to finish cleaning with a vacuum cleaner so it makes the job take twice as long. Wouldnt buy this product again if I had a choice. Plus ours broke when changing the filter accidently turned on a the motor burned immediatly.

What's great about it: Absolutely None
What's not so great: Impossible to list all of them
This is probably the worse product I ever purchased, tried ever in any category (except may be Mercedes ML 320 I bought few years ago). Unbelievable! Poor suction, clumsy mechanics, impossible to vaccum! I never write reviews on anything but this ticked me off!

I bought this product 5 months ago and I still don't like it. The base doesn't work so I have to detach the small vacuum to use it and it only has power to vacuum one room at a time, and I live in a small apartment. I'm only using it to vacuum my car now.

What's great about it: Maneuverable, light weight, easy to empty filter, great double filter system
What's not so great: Doesn't pick up much more than dust, Not strong enough to vacuum a flat area rug
This vacuum is light weight and great for hardwood floors but not good at picking up anything bigger than a piece of string.
The battery life is too short and there's no option for a second battery so you have to wait until the battery recharges in order to finish the job. I'm using this vacuum downstairs and my old eureka upstairs.
The vacuum doesn't pick up well off a flat area rug either.
I was really looking forward to this vacuum because of all the great reviews I had read. I was pretty disappointed by the third time I used it.

What's great about it: The best vacum EVER on hard wood floors!
What's not so great: Not all that great on carpet, especially plush carpet
This is a great vacuum and has totally replaced sweeping for us. I love the little hand held vac included as well. It's a great buy for the price! I also love how well it swivels, it's so easy to reach all the places you want. It also comes with a great wall mount/charger which looks nice. Love it!

This vacuum performs very well and has some great features. The swivel is very nice, the handheld part pops out for the small cleanups, and the extension on the handheld very handy for reaching between couch cushions or along baseboards. The battery life is ok, you'll get 15-20 minutes between charges but it takes HOURS to recharge, so if you have a lot of hard floors, invest in something with a cord or buy two. Also, the rotating brush conveniently slips out to clean, so if you own pets this is a big plus.
This vacuum was well thought out, well constructed, but I do have a complaint. I have yet to find any store that sells replacement filters. The machine comes with 3 additional cloth-like paper filters, but once those are gone you have to call the service number and order more. My wife and I looked at every store around us which sells this vacuum and none of them sold replacement filters. We even stopped by 2 vacuum cleaner stores, one being an Electrolux store, and they did not even have them. The rep at the Electrolux store told us they were actually bought out by Eurika and Eurika actually is responsible for this product. Eurika reps were also no help; the only assistance we received was when we called the service number in the user's manual. We did received them for free when we called, because they made a small modification to the vacuum between the time when we purchased the device and when we called to get new filters, though I forget how much they charge for them.

This is very handy to clean up small messes as it's both a floor vacuum with spinning brushes and a portable little handheld unit.
It's definitely powerful enough and small enough to have if you just have to vacuum one room (preferably one without thick carpeting, like a dorm room). But, if you're planning to venture out into the rest of your home, get a stronger vacuum. Another reason for this is the battery life. It'll be fine for one room, but leave it running for more than 10-15 minutes, and it'll start to lose a lot of power (however, it was constantly plugged into the base, so maybe that affected the battery too).
The brush was easy to remove and clean, as was the filter and dirt container. One of the greatest things about it is its maneuverability. It could get under tables and beds without much of a problem.
AND, I agree with the first review. Putting the vac back onto the base took a bit of getting used to.
Overall, I recommend it, as long as you plan on using it for smaller cleaning jobs.

This is essentially a hand vacuum (dustbuster type) cleverly attached to a handle and floor nozzle. It has the advantage over previous vacuums making this effort in that the floor unit has a roller brush. It does not have the power of a full size vacuum so its utility is mainly as a quick cleanup device not to be used for full house cleaning. It is well built and has an excellent swiveling joint that makes it easy to turn corners. Being a hand vacuum essentially, the trash compartment is small but easily emptied. It is best kept in a room that needs frequent touchups. It sits in a charging stand with an interesting blue light while receiving power. It takes some dexterity to set it in the stand, however.
I would recommend this to a friend!
