"Its good its something like the wii put cheaper and a less active so if you cant afford the wii get the ps2 because the graphics are the same and the games and pretty much the same too. Also its lasts for a long time"

What's great about it: Affordable, large library of games to choose from, durable.
What's not so great: Graphics arent as great as today's new systems, but decent.

What's great about it: Nice and Cheap, Very Easy to Set up, Amazing Games, A lot of Fun
What's not so great: The Only Con is that the PS3 came out. Which means the PS2 lost its Value Slightly.

Wow, Where do i Begin?
You see, The PS2 is an Amazing Console That Allows Player of All Ages to Enjoy it. The games Vary from Kiddy Games to Mature games. Im not saying any other Console Provide this, Because Pretty Much all do, But whats Special about the PS2 and Any Sony Product is the Quality and Value that Lies within it.
The Picture is Top Notch. The Sound is beautiful. And the Games are Very Very Cheap.
Also, One thing that i Especially Love about the PS2 is its Capablity to PLay with people across the World in ONLINE play....For FREE!. Unlike that OTHER brand >.>

So if you're Reading this to get an Idea of Weither or not to get it. Consider this:

What's great about it: Good price,good games,doesn't breakdown often,can play DVDs
What's not so great: It can take a while to load with newer games like lego indiana jones,because the actual game is too advanced

What's great about it: Simple, Can take the place of a DVD or CD Player, Cheap, Fun Games
What's not so great: Can't handle transportation well, Only two built in controller ports, no Wi-Fi

"The Playstation 2 works pretty well. If you don't have a DVD player, you can use it for that. The system is cheap and the games are fun. Some of the bad things about it is it can't handle transportation well. I just took my Playstation 2 in a bag to another person's house, and for a while, my controller didn't work right. I hate how there's only two controller ports. You have to buy extra ports. And there is no WI-FI."

What's great about it: You get to suspend reality
What's not so great: Cost of the games

"I'm on my second PS2. The first one was a gift from my nephew, for my kids. Little did I realize, at the time, that I would become completely addicted to some of the games. The first one lasted about two years and died suddenly one day when I went to play it after coming home from work. I literally raced to my car, sped to the nearest Best Buy and purchased another one. I play mainly Madden Football, logging 15-20 hours per week. This has become my stress reliever, and, as stated in my heading, it allows me to suspend reality for a little while and not worry about day to day stressers. I also play a little Need for Speed and Top Gun. The graphics and realism on all of the PS2 games is fantastic. I don't think you can get a better value for your dollar."

"If you are just looking for a pretty inexpensive way to get into gaming, you can't go wrong with the PS2. The PS3, Wii & XBOX 360 are the latest and greatest out there right now, but PS2 is still a lot of fun."

"My ps2 is great, its obviously not as nice as a ps3 but im not going to fork over 400(?) dollars for a video game system. They are stil releasing games for it and its tons of fun"

What's great about it: some games are great and this system has been out for like 7 years so it has a lot of games
What's not so great: it gets boring after a while

"a lot of the games are really fun like guitar hero 2 and 3 and even aerosmith. they dont really have as many games as they used to like they removed 500 of the games at least."

"This is a good buy for someone who wants a console, but doesn't want to buy a top-of-the-line next generation console. It has a huge library of good games that can bought new or used.
