What's not so great: Worse Graffics than other newer gaming systems

What's great about it: This a very fun gaming system and has good quality fetures
What's not so great: The only cons the ps2 has is that the graphics aren't that good
"The ps2 is very fun and reliable. WHen u play the games the are fun but not that good when it comes to the graphics. Playing is very easy and has good features such as a dvd/cd player. Even though the graphics might not be the best I would still recommend it to anyone."

What's great about it: alot of good games, good quality, easy to set up,
What's not so great: old, freezes up, some games stink,
"Even if the PS3 is new, the PS2 is still a good console to play with. The slim version is better and more sleeker. the PS2 has many good and bad games for everyone 's varity. I would recommend this console to everyone!"

"This is a great system. I have had mine since they came out with the slimmer design (so forever) and it still works great. The price for these is great when compared to the ps3 or x-box 360. There are a ton of good games for this system and they are still making games for it. However I do not know how much longer they will. I have mine hooked up online and it works great. The free online play I think is a huge plus. So, if you do not want to break your bank and play some good classic games then this is for you. However, if price is not the issue then the ps3 is 100% what you should be looking at (not the x-box 360 trust me)."

What's great about it: its smaller,alot of games,
What's not so great: if you put any thing on the door were you put in the game it might freeze the game

What's great about it: VERY thin design, fast, easy to use, great games, backwards compatibility
What's not so great: I'm not a big fan of the door popping open to insert the disc, liked the other method of the tray sliding out...
"I was given this as a gift for my 15th birthday, and I couldn't be happier. I previously had a Playstation 1, and this is an amazing jump between 2 systems! The graphics on almost every game have been crystal clear and sometimes have exceeded what I would expect. The controller is very simple and the buttons are easy to reach for those with smaller hands. I would recommend this game system to anyone!!"

"if you want a very good system that isnt extremely expensive like the xbox 360 or the PS3 this is the system to get. I hooked mine up online now i just cant stop. the best thing is that the games that might be SUPER expensive on 360 or ps3 dont cast as much as this. this is by far the best system i have owned

"Ever since it came out, the playstation 2 has been a top choice for many people and it still is today. In fact, it probably will stay that way all the way until they decided to stop making games for it. In my opinion, I still prefer it over the newer game consoles out now."

What's great about it: Lots of games, Low Price, Decent graphics, Slim design, DVD player, CD player, Online gameplay.
What's not so great: It's been out for a long time.
"I bought this in 2003, I was very excited. There are lots of games for it, you can watch movies, listen to music on it etc. I highly recommend this to anyone who likes to play video games, though if you are a hardcore player you should get a newer system."

"This is a smart and safe purchace for anyone. Ps2 has games for all kinds of people unlike Xbox or nintendo which is either only a shooter game or some kind of adventure.ps2 has every kind of game from guitar hero to Call of Duty or Madden 08'. My ps2 hasnt broken down or done anything bad and Ive had it a while."

What's not so great: Online capability not as easy to access as Xbox
"I've purchsed the PS2 console and am not dissapointed! The DvD player works great and the loading times are bareable in most games. The PS2 still performs up to par with the new systems out today! You will nto be dissapointed with the PS2!"
