What's great about it: fun game console, tons of games
What's not so great: graphics
"i don't have to say much, but out of all the game systems out right now,this is one of the best.the ps2 has a ton of games for it and coming out with even more. the only thing now so great about it is the graphics. great product, i'm satisfied"

What's great about it: Games still coming out even with Playstation 3
"The Playstation 2 will go down as one of the top three greatest systems of all time. I remember seeing Grand Theft Auto 3 on this system and it made me go out and buy it. People probably feel the same way today with the Xbox 360 or Playstaion 3. This system has really lived past its prime and games are still coming out for it. A game system I will remember forever."

What's great about it: Small but durable, fun to play games on, cheaper than PS3 and Xbox 360
What's not so great: Does not perform like PS3 or Xbox 360 obviously
"This product is a nice upgrade from the older ps2. With its slim look and new designed disc drive to prevent the disc error that the original ps2 was known for. Overall good product with good aspects."

What's great about it: great systems
What's not so great: not a great game choice
"Ive always been a fan of Sony. And i loved the Playstation 2....However they only dissapointment is the selection of games. They have some great games but almost all of them are avaliable on xbox and playstation does not offer Halo. Still a great system and i would recomend it to anyone."

"This Plasystation believe it or not is a real computer. It actually has Linux installed on it. That doeswnt mean It can take vista unless you are a good hacker.
This one is slim. Easy to brake. The fatter one is better, I dropped the fat one at least 1000 times at it works fine.
My neighbor dropped his slim one it was the end of the road."

What's great about it: inexpensive system and games, large selection of games, variety of skill levels
What's not so great: graphics aren't as good
"I have had my PS2 for awhile and what I like about it, is that its still a valid gaming system on the market. There are a variety of games that are made for the PS2 that are on other systems as well and it is not geared towards one age range (children, teens, or adults) the games span the gammet and are reasonably priced. If you are looking for a new gaming system sometimes the tried and true just work better."

What's great about it: great games and easy to setup
What's not so great: on the older model it was the dfective laser lens
"this system I have had for the last five years. All of the games that I have for the system are a blast to play and I have never found a game that I did not like. I also know that this system has proven itself time and again. I will not buy a new one until any of the others have been out ong enough."

"I got this one after my original model started to have drive issues :/ Well, needless to say this model is 10X better than the ooriginal. This is sooooooo thin compared to the other one. I've Had it for around 1 and 1/2 years now. Great system."

What's not so great: gets hot if you keep it on a carpeted surface

this ps2 has a lot of features:ultra fast disk reading,
8.5v so it can be run on a cars 12v electric system.
