Bought the washer so had to buy dryer

What's great about it: Wrinkle care option and damp dry beep, plus I love the traditional styling.
What's not so great: I felt the price was too high in that it is just a clothes dryer, after all.
"Our new home came with a very dated laundry set that was very loud. They are housed behind bi-fold doors in the kitchen and when used, cooking or talking on the phone became unbearable. The LG set is a great replacement because they look like traditional laundry pairs while giving you the workspace for folding clothes that is really the best part of "older" design. Furthermore, these machines don't leave you feeling like you need to buy some gimmicky pedestal storage containers that don't really store anything. I liked the lighted drum and a salesperson said that a stainless steel drum will reduce static, which this unit has. The LED display and chrome accent around the glass door add a touch of class to a rather inocuous white appliance. The tune that plays upon powering up and cycle finish is kinda fun. And you can make 1 custom program which we use for dying our towels after showering."

What's great about it: Easy to use! Almost silent!
What's not so great: none that I can find
"I have been using this dryer for 2 weeks now. We love it. Its very easy to use. Make sure the unit is level. We had the old style washer and dryer and it is amazing how quite this unit is. Even in the room by the laundry room, you can not hear it run. The settings to a great job of drying the clothes also. Our kids help with laundry and they can operate this unit with no problems."

Excellent Front Load Dryer

What's great about it: Very quiet.
What's not so great: Mosture sensor dry leaves jean pockets still damp.
"We did a ton of research and read many reviews, and LG always came up the best dryer. The dryer is very quiet and does a great job. There are a ton of options from a quick dry to a very long dry time. However, the moisture sensor dry will often leave jean pockets damp. We've had ours in use for about 2 months and haven't had a single problem. The controls on the top are the perfect height without the need for pedalstals."

Incredible Drier

What's great about it: Very Quiet, pleasant "buzzer", efficient drying time
What's not so great: Heavier than standard driers
"It is harder to move than standard driers, but that's where the bad news stops. The drying time is cut in half compared to standard driers, it is whisper quiet compared to standard driers, too. The tone that is used to notify you that the cycle is over is quite pleasant, too! It's got lots of options for drying cycles, including an antibacterial cycle to make sure your clothes are germ free, for those who are overly paranoid. One thing that I personally think is cool, is where standard driers you tend to have to use drier sheets to keep static off and keep the clothes smelling fresh... it is actually recommended to NOT use drier sheets with this one. Clothes are not static-charged and they still smell fresh. The reason to NOT use the drier sheets is it will clog the lint filter over time so it does not work as efficiently in the long run. Overall this is a great drier and I have no problems with it. Definitely a great buy!"

"I recently brought this dryer and I love it already.... It drys my clothes much quicker than my old dryer. I really was impressed with my LG stove but my LG dryer is really great. The size of the dryer is really great for me since I have large comforters that need to be dryed. I would recommend this dryer to anyone who needs a new dryer."

"Bought this dryer nearly four years ago (along with the matching washer) and have had no problems with it. Clothes are dry in half the time of a regular dryer resulting in energy savings.
You will love this machine!!!"

"Bought this unit a couple of weeks ago with the matching washer to replace an aged Kenmore unit. So far it has performed great! Digital display shows time remaining but unit almost always has the load dry in less time. Huge capacity drum fits large articles with ease. Control panel is easy to use and understand. had doubts about LG appliances because we had never owned one but read positive reviews on LG produtcs before purchase and am happy with this purchase!"

"We bought this to match the washer, and are just as pleased as we are with the washer. Like other reviewers, I have read nothing but positive feedback about all LG products, and are happy with all of our LG purchases. The dryer is enormous, dries clothes quickly (partly due to the efficient spin cycle on the washer), and has lots of options for different types of drying cycles. Haven't tried them all yet but it's nice to know you have options! Great product, don't hesitate to buy it."

Great dryer with lots of features

"I bought this dryer to go with the WM0642H washer I purchased a few months prior. I purchased this dryer because I didn't need a stacking set and LG brand was the only way to go. After reading the consistently really good and really bad reviews on all of the other major front-load brands, LG only ever had really great reviews. I love the large capacity and how quiet it is. The sanitize cycle is great that heats the load and the control panel is very easy to use to select what temperature, drying cycle and options you want. The time remaining defaults to the estimated time for most loads, but then adjusts as it senses the water level and shows the remaining time for that load; it seems very accurate. I have noticed a significant decrease in the time it takes to dry my clothes, partly because of the increased dryness from the washer and because of the efficiency of this dryer. LG thought of everything with this dryer, even the beep to signal the end is nice and not annoying. I would definitely purchase this dryer again."

"THIS DRYER IS HUGE !! WITH 5 KIDS I NEEDED SOMETHING REALLY BIG THAT WOULD HANDLE THE BIG LOADS AND IT DRIES OUR CLOTHES AND EVEN TOWELS VERY FAST!! WE'VE HAD NO PROBLEMS OR COMPLAINTS. EXCELLENT PRODUCT!! I RECCOMEND GETTING THE PEDESTAL TOO."
