What's great about it: great online play and cool story
What's not so great: nothing
"Halo 3 is a great game, the only bad thing about it is it is very addicting. its the best xbox live game ive ever played, and the campaign is co op which is one of the best things they did for halo 3. I totally recomend this to anyone seeking a great shooting and multiplayer game, so go out and buy it."

What's great about it: Great Multiplayer, Lots of new modes, Co-op Campaign, Good Xbox Live
What's not so great: Still not the best Halo......
"Microsoft has done it again. What a great game this is. I love all of the new maps and mutli-player modes that you can do. Also the Xbox Live is a lot of fun and is great for killing time with friends. Another great Halo game."

Fitting Ending to an Epic Series

What's great about it: Tight gameplay, good graphics, superb multiplayer
What's not so great: Confusing story, Decent maps for multiplayer
"Halo 3 is a fitting ending to the Halo series. After a decent Halo 2, the third installment was a sight for sore eyes. It keeps up the tradition of excellent gameplay with a few new additions such as new vehicles, new guns, and more open environments. All of these round out the campaign very nicely. The game is of moderate length at about 10-15 hours long. Good luck following the story though, because you won't. Not even kidding. Seriously, I will give you 10 dollars if you are able to follow the story fully. The graphics are nice, though not quite up to par with those of CoD 4 or The Orange Box. The online competitive and cooperative multiplayer modes really make this game a must own. Competitive multiplayer is fast paced and very exhilarating. The cooperative mode supports up to 4 players to play through the game, which is fun. Forge mode is also new which allows players to edit multiplayer maps by placing different items and scenery throughout them. This gives the game longevity. The maps are somewhat decent, though still solid.
If you are an FPS fan with a 360, I recommend Halo 3, though after CoD 4."

"This game is the best $60 I've ever spent! It is the best of the halo series. You have extra features the other halo games don't have (New maps,New weapons,etc.). I would recommend you get this halo if you want to buy a halo game. it will be the best $60 you've ever spent! Trust me."

"The campaign is very fun, but seemed kinda short to me, but upping the difficulty and adding skulls makes it more enjoyable. Multiplayer, on the other hand, is where this game truly shines."

"Now i really like the story mode of the game but the online play is really bad. its just you running around trying to kill somebody which takes 5 min and then he runs and regenerates his shields and comes back and it starts again. really horrible"

What's not so great: Poor for more experinced gamers
"When i first got halo 3, it smeeded like the best game ever. The online is great, lots of maps to use. The forge feature was reall fun to use to. But then christmas time i got Call of Duty 4. When i tried to play halo the graphics seemed to be a bit choppy and not as fun. If you just got your 360, i think it'd be worth it to buy Halo 3, but if you had yours for a long time, i would'nt get it."

What's not so great: Single player, bland graphics compared to whats available
"Overall this game is well worth the multiplayer experience. You will be able to pop this in for at least the next few years to experience online multiplayer mayhem.
Single player is good but not great with the competition of Bioshock or even a lesser known title such as The Darkness. It allows for a good, straight up shooter experience. A must have for any 360 owner just so they know what Halo is about."

"One of the best ways to play would have to be online being able to go to war with my friend in vegas when im clear in chicago, cant beat it. has to be the best multi player game i have ever played. graphics are awesome. The story mode in campaign is always fun to go throungh."

What's great about it: Online multiplayer, Graphics, New content
What's not so great: Can't compare it to Halo1 (XBC)
"Fun game, great online play, friends list is awesome. Its still has the same problem as Halo 2, cheaters. Standby is a popular one. Other than that it has a lot of features including forge, theater (where you can edit your campaign or online multiplayer footage), file share and online co-op. I love playing this game!"

What's great about it: Great Graphics, Decent Length, Some cool new weapons and vehicles
What's not so great: A lot of similiar things to Halo 2, as in game play and graphics.
"This is one of the best games out for Xbox 360. If this was the first in the series, it would be game of the year. Since it is the third, there are a lot of things that are the same as one or both of its predicessors. Great Game, if you don't have it, get it."
