"This a good game especially if you are into the halo series. Not much revolutionary here, but good mutiplayer fun. I think the movement and action is sometimes a little slow but once you get used to it you'll be dominating in no time. Single player game is OK."

What's great about it: Great graphics, storyline, acting voices, gameplay, controls, setup, online play, and multiplayer What's not so great: short game, could have been much longer and you can't play music and hear their voices at the same time on the 360
"Halo 3 was a fantastic game. The storyline was compelling, exciting and had many plot twist. The game play and graphics were amazing! I couldn't believe what I was seeing, it looked like the game was real! The controls were easy to learn and convenient. It was not hard to shoot bad guys and I was not restricted in how I moved. I rate this game as a 9/10 because halo 3 wasn't very long. There were only nine levels and they were very awesome, but I wanted more. I wanted the game to last much longer. Halo 3 was an extraordinary game and I would recommend it to anyone who is a gamer!!!"

"So, what more can be said about Halo, it's a classic game that will undoubtedly go down in history as such. However as far as first person shooters go, the game is getting slightly dated. The storyline is continued from previous games, and theres nothing new and exciting about it.

"This is a good game for the series and has a pretty good story. Although, there are many problems. Ok, in my opinion, this is just Halo 2 with more guns. And by guns, I mean the exact same guns, just a lot worse than before. Most of the guns that are brought back from Halos 1 and 2 are just re-made into a lot less powerful guns. And the swords now clash together.(Goodbye sword horde) and the sniper has TERRIBLE kick back and you now have to lead your shots.(shoot where the enemy is GOING to be, not where they are at the given point in time) And they also in my opinion have worse maps as well. I mean sure there are a few good maps, but for the most part, there just the same ol' thing. Although, for what Halo 3 loses in multiplayer, it makes up for in campaign. This has a great story and a very good ending for the series. There are still bad things in here as well though. The game is probably around 6-8 hours, on LEGENDARY. And the game gets quite repetative. Even though the Scarabs now have crazy cool explosions, it gets kinda old for the 5th time. To wrap this all up, I just need to say that this is a very good game, just not good enough to buy the special or legendary editions."

What's great about it: Fun exciting never boring online multiplayer, good graphics and story What's not so great: Campaign fun yet little on the short side, Bring back some old halo/ halo 2 maps
"When i first got this game i instantly thought it was the greatest funnest game. Sure it got little less fun after hours of playing but im still not bored with this game. The story mode was good and fun on co op. Forge and theater really add a little extra to this game. I also enjoy being able to customize your armor. Some of the new maps (High ground, the pit) are crazy good and with forge you can make them even better. The first time you play this game online you'll find it hard to put the controller down. I've had it since september and still play it without getting bored. with all the weapons,vehicles,maps,gametypes,custom games, its hard to get bored with this game,."

"Halo 3 is an extremely solid title and I'm sure most would say that it's the greatest multiplayer title out to date, but Halo 3 is extremely repetitive which some could say about most shooters, but that's just my opinion. The maps in this installment of the Halo series are a serious dissappointment in comparison to the maps in Halo 2 or even the first Halo. some are hugely successful such as Higher Ground and Valhalla, but overall the maps leave something to be desired. Some additions were made that I absolutely love such as the mongoose and the new shiled system but overall this game was a step down from Halo 2."

"This game is the main reason why I bought the Xbox360, despite it being overrated. I was not in a rush to buy the game, because I thought I was going to play nonstop. Alas, the moment of truth has arrived. Unfortunately, it was not as great as I thought. The game turned out to be a polished version of Halo 2. It features a couple new weapons, and the button control is slightly different. I bought the game, mainly, to play the campaign (to "finish the fight"). From the looks of it, I see a possibility for Halo 4, but we'll see when the time comes. Online multiplayer is decent. It has new maps, and character customization. Other than these... enjoy what you have enjoyed in Halo 2."

"Halo 3 is spectacular game if you are looking to purchase it. The story is fantastic with great graphics, although it is somewhat repetitave. You can play co-op with two people on one console, or four people on two or more consoles. Multiplayer is still the same, with added maps, guns, and ranks. It also comes with a sick forge mode where you can add or take away many parts of the level and replace it with new objects and guns. There is a theater where you can watch your recent campaign performances, as well as the online ones. Take pictures and tape videos to save and share with your friends. The best can be put on Bungie's Favorites board. Overall, the gae is four and a half stars, but not the five because of the repeating in the campaign. Everything else is a solid five out of five."
