"This is the worst halo game yet. It is nothing like COD4. If you got to choose witch game to choose go with COD4. In this game you have to unload WAY to much ammo just to kill ONE person."

What's great about it: the whole thing
What's not so great: more campaign levels
"I had never played Halo before. My cousin had just gotten Xbox for Chistmas. One week when i stayed with him during vacation he decided to go out and buy Halo. We didn't do anything else for 5 days after we opened the case except for eating and the occasional bathroom break. I was pulled into the world of Halo. The story was incredible, the action was intense. I bought a PS3. I still love the PS3 but the fact it doesn't have Halo is a bummer. I plan on buying an Xbox for the Halo series alone!"

What's great about it: Great Campaign, multiplayer, and game modes
What's not so great: Campaign a little on the short side
"I got this as a birthday present and it's awsome, I've been wanting it for a while. I completed Halo, and Halo2, so I really wanted to see the conclusion in Halo3. I think the guys at Bungie did a really great job! But the campaign was a little short, but it was very good.
The multiplayer on Xbox Live is very neat. I like the rankink system. I also like the fact that you can do the campaign, and forge on Xbox live. I like the file share also. It lets you post games and maps that you made in Forge :) so that other people can download them to play.
If you are looking to buy this game, BUY IT NOW!!!! :)"

What's great about it: none stop action!!!!!!!

"I don't like gun games a lot. But Halo 3 is the BOMB! You will be on the edge off your seat through out the game. The levels are hard and that's what makes this game so exciting. You have to travel from place to place save Cortana and much more! I 100% recommend this game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

What's great about it: Graphics, Storyline, Control, Multiplayer
What's not so great: Over too quickly
"I've been a fan of the Halo series since the beginning in 2001. Halo 3 is a big improvement over Halo 2 in that you are now playing as the Master Chief in all levels and the Arbiter has been relegated to the role of sidekick. There is less repitition of the levels in this version over the previous two as well. If you enjoyed the first two games, please do yourself a favor and get this one too, you won't regret it."

What's great about it: GREAT online play,
What's not so great: graphics arent great, not many changes from the previous halo
"Halo is an alright story not great. Graphics were well under my expectations. Overall not much change.... accept for the onlne play. The online play is so awesome, I play everyday for months now. Other games I stop playing after I beat it but halo 3's replay potential is amazing. I have so many videos saved of me kicking but. There are so many different types of games so anyone could be made happy."

"Halo 3 is an awesome game. the campaign is soooo much better than the halo 2 campaign, the multiplayer maps are great and the forge makes them even better, and the new armor permutation feature is sweet. But without a doubt, the best part of this game is the online play. if you do not have xbox live gold, then you will not realize how sweet this game is. The online play in this game is just as good as cod4, which one you like better is based on your playing style. I highly recommend this game to everyone."

What's great about it: ...better than halo 2
What's not so great: nothing special about this game, especially the graphics
"This game basically sucks if you think about it. The graphics aren't that great for an fps and there is a horrible frame rate. The maps are very similar, even identical, to halo 2. You are not getting anything more except graphics that are slightly better. The graphics are 720p at best, andd do not even look good on my 1080p lcd tv. Compared to other fps games out there, like call of duty 4, this game does not even compare slightly. Yes, this game has a reputation for good online play. But so what, what game nowadays doesn't. I will give it credit where it is deserved, however. The game is better than halo 2. Undoubtedly, the only reason this game is popular is because of its long time on the market. If you are considering buying a 360 for this gamje...don't waste your money. I should have bought the ps3. The graphics are much much better and the games are pretty much the same. All in all, Halo 3 is a waste of time and money!!!"

"Halo is a must to anyone! The only thing I found wrong with it is that being a halo player the storyline can be a little repetitive and the campaign mode is slightly shorter. What's great about it: Online Matchmaking, Lots of players online, and you can Gain Ranks online which is pretty neat, Easy game to get use to.
What's not so great: Campaign can get boring and is short, wouldn't recommend someone who doesn't have XBox Live
