What's great about it: good campaign and awesome multiplayer
What's not so great: none that i can find
"The game is incredible with graphics that are uncharacteristic of th other halos. Bungie fixed virtually all the problems with the previous multiplyers. Perfect for online gaming because it allows up to 16 players in a social match. The campaign is challenging at times and will keep gamers busy for a while. Only problems is you can't play it enough and the some achievements are hard to get EX: steppin razor"

What's great about it: Awesome picture and nice live
What's not so great: boring campaign
"If you have live then you'll never get tired of this game. It has amazing picture and no lag time. HOWEVER, withouot LIVE it is a little dull and alot of shooting all the time. If you play on a high difficulty you're going to need alot of players because it is extremely difficult. Very well done though."

What's great about it: Campaign,MultiplayerGameplay,Graphics.Controls
What's not so great: Different controls than the previous Halos
"Its Halo,you wont be disapointed.
Everyone who has a Xbox 360 should have this game,if you dont buy it NOW.
The controls can take a while to get used to(30 mins.)"

Good Campaign, Great Online Multi-player

What's great about it: By far the best fighting game on the market, graphics, creativity, multi-player
What's not so great: None really, but If you dont have XBOX live, its not as good
"Ive only had this game for a day but have played it at my friends house for months and it is by far the best game out their. Not only is it creative and interesting unlike CoD4 which only has real life things that youve seen in other games before, but it is a great multiplayer game with your friends. It has really cool new weapons like assortments of grenades and some new intense weapons which add to the reasons why it is better then CoD4 and Halo 2. But if ou dont have XBOX Live, i would only give it a 4.5 because even though the campaign is good, the real action is online, but it is also god with your friends if you have enough contollers. Overall though, it is definitely worth the money because its a gme that you can play for ever with your friends and online because it never gets old. You should buy it pl0x."

"This is by far the most addicting game I have ever played for Xbox. I've been a Halo Fan since I played it at my friends house 4 years back. Halo 3 is what every halo enthusiast has been waiting for. Brand new weapons, vehicles, addition of equipment. This is truly an amazing game, the campaign is awesome! and the multiplayer is that much better. I give this a 10/10. If you are a Halo enthusiast or just an everyday gamer, this is a Must Buy. Also check out..Gears of War..Call of Duty 4..and SKATE. =D"

"awful period. i just think that the game lacks new things.i mean like it should of brought something new but i didnt. and xbox live is the same its just a bunch of people glitching and jumping around. dont get me wrong its fun. just not worth all the hype"

"If you like 1st person shooter games, this is the perfect game for you. If you don't have online i wouldn't recommend this game. The campaign missions are short but fun. If you liked Halo1, Halo2, this game is so much better and more fun."

"i liked this one better than the orginals because there is much more to do. in this game their is many more vehicles and weapons. Also i like how you can create your own maps. if you r a big fan in the series i say this a best buy"

"I expect more of this game, I agree with this game was a very good game for the first couple of weeks. The campaign was very addictive and fun but then it just went down and was horrible. I am not going to lie to you, I thought it was a great way to spend my money, but then I realized it was horrible and a complete waste of my money. I bought CoD4 also, it is so much better."

What's great about it: awesome online and pretty good campaign, great plot, sick weapons and vehicles
What's not so great: online is somewhat repetitive but pretty much always fun
"This game was well worth the money and it deff. lived up to the hype. Though many people think the game is boring and a waste of money i have to disagree. this game is suitable for ages 14+. In this game you are able to use a variety of weapons and drive many vehicles. This game is more of an online game so if you want to get it just for the campaign rent it. the weapons on the online part of the game consist of snipers, smg, battle rifle, shotgun, turrets, energy swords and the futureistic weapons include spartan lasers, missile pods, beam rifles and many more. The vehicles are as well including tanks, banshees( aircraft ) and mongooses(atv). and many more. on online there is a rank up system that lets other people see how good you are at the game. this is a similiar system to cod4. the online is usually family friendly and is an experience all xbox live subscribers should live. all in all this game is a must have for all xbox 360 owners and should bring joy to all players."

"Halo 3 is a great game and worth the money, IF you enjoy online gaming. If you are coming for the story you wont be as pleased as you were with Halo and Halo 2. Although the story isn't amazing there is no doubting Halo 3 is a must own. With excellent and in depth online that does break the boundaries of online play you will be amazed by the 4 player co-op of the campaign and Halo never gets too boring online if you and your friends hop on for some multiplayer. If you dont have it, buy it you should enjoy it. However if you want a story, only rent this game."

"I never played Halo before but this game is pretty good. It can be repetitive when playing ranked matches because you play the same 4 maps over and over... There is a new map pack downlaod available though if your willing to pay for it. I would recommend Call Of Duty4 before i would this game..."

"Everything about this game is awsome now you can have ranks and skill to show how good you are. You can even edit maps to your likeings. The thing i like to do is try to make a sweet race track for everymap then race them with my friends so if you dont have this game go buy it now you will enjoy for a long time."

What's great about it: Multiplayer, Graphics, Forge, and Replay System
What's not so great: Campain could be better
"Halo 3 is the one game every owner of a Xbox 360 needs to have. The updated graphics are fantastic. The Multiplayer is great as always, although some would say it needs a little more work. The Forge mode is a great addition to the game and can be lots of fun for those who like to take control and be creative. My personal favorite is the new Theater feature, where you can look over your replays and make clips, videos, and screenshots from Multiplayer, Campaign, etc. If there is anything I didn't enjoy in Halo 3 was the fact that I thought that the Campaign could have been a little better. Overall, Halo 3 is one of the best games I have ever played."

What's great about it: Has A great replay value. There is so much packed in for the money
What's not so great: Campaign is a letdown
"Halo 3 is a good game. Campaign is good, but not as great as it could have been. The AI driving in campaign still lacks skill. The online is where this game excels, just as Halo 2. Online is where most gamers spend their hours. Plus, there is Forge, where you can edit maps by rearranging objects as you like. Plus, now you can watch replays of games and save them as films if you like. You can do all this with friends online as well. Plus, Online Co-Op for up to 4 people.
Bottom line: I would recommend this game to some with Xbox Live. If you are just going to get this game for just campaign, I would rent it."
