What's great about it: easy to install and use
What's not so great: The CHEAP wire harness around the plugs on BOTH ends
I have had 3 of these. You have to have this in order to receive your XM radio channels. The down side is the cheap wires that come with it. I have bought the 2nd and 3rd receivers just to replace the wires that go between your Pioneer head unit and the tuner. I think I am going to switch from Pioneer to Alpine before I buy a 4th one!

I enjoyed the install on my 2010 F150. I just stuck the antenna on the right hand side of the dash for a quick install. Works great!

For the cost of this unit, the troubles with service for it was a pain. Also the channel line up is not what it's cracked up to be. There also is not much of a value in the package offers. If I had researched this unit more before I bought it, I would not had gotten it.
Well known for attena issues, customer service at XM is clueless about the units, service packages are WAY OVER PRICED, would had been a better option to get the blue tooth adapter to link up to my smart phone as those aps are free and better choices for music

What's not so great: This died after 2 years.
Of course this would be the one thing I didn't get a best buy warranty on. I need my XM! You never know how much you depend on satellite radio until you are forced to listen to FM. During the time it worked, it was great! So I'll be getting a replacement here soon enough.

I have an external xm radio in my truck, but my wife does not like the idea of exposed wiring. This is the perfect solution for her. Plays great through her new Pioneer head unit with minimum fuss. BB installed the head unit, this xm tuner, steering wheel controls and an i-pod input in her Land Rover. She is very impressed with the new radio!
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Flawless
What's not so great: none
I converted from Sirius to XM and I love this product. Works well with my DEH-P7900BT head unit. I would reccomend this to anyone.

What's great about it: good reception, out of the way
I bought this product for my fiancee for Christmas last year. He already had a satellite-ready stereo in his car, so this worked perfect. I do not know about installation because i had best buy install it, but it fit right under the drivers seat. Has great reception. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Pros: easy to install, very good integration with my head unit
CONs: I miss the record feature and favorties feature on my Inno
I purchased and installed this unit on the same day to replace my failing Pioneer inno. Installation was very straightforward and the instructions are good. The unit integrates nicely with my Pioneer DEH-5900iB.
The XM radio is presented as another source for the head. When XM is selected, three "bands" are provided. Each band provides a list for preferred channels for a total of 18 memorized channels. I'm pleased with the purchase and would buy this unit again.
I would recommend this to a friend!
