What's great about it: It's Kingston
What's not so great: Pricey (but you get what you pay for!)
After reading the previous reviews I went out and bought me this product and it works great! I have a Dell Inspiron 5150. Quick and easy to install, no complaints! Now I need to get another one!

What's great about it: Nothing
What's not so great: Did not work, even called kingston about it, they said it should work for my computer.
I tried 2 of these RAM pieces in my computer, which is a Gateway MX7527. First one would not get to the Windows XP screen without freezing, exchanged it at the store I got it at. Second one would boot to the OS, but would restart after a minute or so. I checked the BIOS screen and it was recognizing there was the new piece. I called Kingston about it, the guy said it should be compatible with my computer. He said that I should try updating my notebooks BIOS!! Not wanting to risk breaking my computer, I figured I would try another brand at the store. I chose the PNY PC2700 DDR 1GB 333Mhz. System booted up just fine and has been on now for the past 20 minutes! Was worth the $5 and change to get RAM that actually worked after two failed attempts!

What's great about it: Plugs right in with no fuss. Makes my laptop run faster.
What's not so great: High price but this isn't valueRam
Little did I know that my Dell laptop 600m with factory 512 MB had both memory slots that were easily accessable from the bottom! I unscrewed the memory cover in the middle of the bottom of the case, released the catches on one of the memory cards and replaced it with this 1 GB card. When I fired up the laptop it paused and told me that it found new memory and to hit F1 to continue or go into setup. I hit F1 and right away it found a new higher speed. What I now have is 1.25 MB, while less than the laptop's 2 MB max, it is more than the maximum allowed in my Dell Dimension 4400 desktop. My concluding thought is "Why in the world did I wait so long to do this upgrade?"

What's great about it: Our old lap top runs like it did when it was new.
The memory stickes do what they were made to do. We only had 512megs that made for a slow computer. We were able to put the max in 2gigs. This allowed us to up gread to windows 7. No need for a new lap top.

What's great about it: Works fast
What's not so great: Price (when not on sale)
My laptop was working very sluggish. I took it in thinking I would have to just toss it and get a new one. The tech helped with picking Kingston memory and installed it in a flash. I couldn't believe the difference it made, it was as if it's a whole new laptop. Thank you Kingston and Best buy for saving me a lot of trouble.

What's great about it: Faster speed
What's not so great: Took two attempts to seat SODIMM
This was an easy way to speed up performance on a 3 year old Compaq R4000; I bought the memory on sale from BestBuy.com and immediately noticed greater performance. It is so much better, that I just ordered a second 1Gb RAM stick to replace the 256K unit on the motherboard...

I have a Fujitsu Siemens Laptop
I have Amilo Pro V2020.
I was afraid that this generic RAM will not work with it because on Kingston website, there is another customized type tested with this laptop but much more expensive.
But I bought it and it worked very smoothly. No problems at all and the price at BestBuy was the best when it's on sale.

What's great about it: Works on my laptop
My laptop was very very slow when running multiple programs so I used this to upgrade my 512 machine to a gig and a half. It increased my system performance, now I just need another to go straight to 2 gigs. If you need some ran this is where it is at.

What's great about it: Fast, Great Price when I bought it
What's not so great: None
I bought this 1Gb module the day after Christmas, when it was on sale for $70. It was an exceptional price for the memory. My computer is running much faster, and I didn't have any issues with it (some modules can be finicky).
I don't know if I would buy it at the price of $150 though.

What's great about it: Works great
What's not so great: nope
if you are looking for a PC2700, this is definitely a good buy.. considering this is Kingston with the price which you won't find somewhere else. especially you get it from the "Best Buy" that has local stores. This is a great add-on comparing to those pure "online" store.. you get an option to pick up in the store if you want it sooner and a lot LESS HASSLE to return/exchange product when necessary. that's the beauty of it.
