What's great about it: Types nicely, comfortable
What's not so great: wired, expensive
I find the product itself is great - comfy, types nicely and the noise isn't annoying.
I find it ridiculous the price of the keyboard considering they haven't changed much since we bought our last keyboard over 5 years ago and they're the same price! And I'd prefer it to be a wireless keyboard, but I don't like the only wireless model Best Buy stocks.

What's great about it: easy and fun to use
What's not so great: no indication that you may have hit the insert key
This is a replacement keyboard as the first one I purchased at Best Buy was destroyed by a cup of coffee.
This is one of the best designs for a keyboard with a lot of extra goodies, like the programable favorite buttons and the double function keys

What's great about it: Nothing...the design is great for those of us with damaged hands.
What's not so great: You need a keyboard that has lettering that doesn't disappear--probably this thing was made in China.
It's a piece of junk for one primary reason: within two years of purchase, the white letters began disappearing from the keys. Now they are mostly gone. I have no idea why this keyboard is so highly rated. I have been using keyboards for forty years. And, I am an engineer.

What's great about it: Design of keys
What's not so great: Paint rubs off.
This keyboard is great, if the paint on the keys didn't rub off. I've had this keyboard for about 4 years now and I keep it because it's very comfortable to type on. But the paint rubbed off the keys after about a year. For the occasions when I'm not typing by memory, not having the letters painted on the keys sucks. And when my son is on the computer, we have to switch out keyboard becaue he hasn't learned how to type yet. I won't buy this product again which makes me sad, because it's really a cool keyboard.

What's great about it: Easy set-up, good cord length, soft wrist & hand rest.
What's not so great: Front Tilt Plate elevates keyboard too high for medium to small hand/wrist size.
I have carpal tunnel in both wrists and osteoarthritis. I was introduced to this type of keyboard at work and was very skeptical at first - did not expect there would be any noticeable difference. After adjusting to the keyboard style and removing the Front Tilt Plate, I could not believe how much stress on my hands and wrists was relieved. The hand rest is soft & wide which allows the wrist, palm & thumb area to be in a relaxed position while typing. With such a huge stress difference I decided to purchase one for my home computer. The keys do not make any type of noise however the space bar does if tapped on the right side. Not that bothersome considering the comfort. I would highly recommend this product.

What's great about it: Eronomic
What's not so great: Printing came off the keys in only a couple of weeks
I have been using this style of Microsoft keyboard for many years. Suddenly they no longer make it in a wireless format. Now I can no longer move my keyboard back while conferencing with students since I am now tethered by a cord. The quality of the product has gone down too. The keys are now much louder and the letters have come off of half of the keys after only two weeks! My last keyboard lasted me about five years and all of the keys are still readable. Good thing I don't need to know what letter each key is!
I really wish someone else made a good ergonomic keyboard. I am very dissatisfied with this one!

What's great about it: Hand placement, Cord length, very responsive.
What's not so great: Nothing.
After using my keyboard for a few weeks and being a school student i would say it is perfect for writing papers and just surfing the internet. The hand position is spot on and does indeed feel very natural to type on.

What's great about it: Reduces hand and wrist pain.
What's not so great: Not durable.
I worked with an older Logitech ergo keyboard for years and loved it. Got this to replace my iMac keyboard because of ulnar neuropathy. Much prefer the feel of the Apple keys, but what can you do. Ergo choices are very limited.
The scroll wheel and all the extra buttons really didn't add much functionality, but that was irrelevant because I bought it for the improved hand position and on that front it was effective. I used it exclusively despite the cheap feel and noisy, slow, higher effort keys because it was easier on my hands and wrists. It was, I thought, a decent purchase.
Right up until it met *about a teaspoon* of coffee one morning -- barely a dribble. That was all she wrote. The keys in the area where the spill occurred just stopped working. Unplugging it and letting it dry out did not help a bit. The MS website has no warranty info online for it either. It looks difficult to disassemble and despite web reports that most keyboards can be washed, this one has never recovered from that either. Immersion completely killed the rest of the keys.
I'm back to using the Apple keyboard and wearing a brace and gel gloves. Someone needs to make a robust, quality ergo keyboard for the Mac.

What's great about it: It looks good
What's not so great: keys way too far apart
I bought this keyboard a few weeks ago and I will be returning it to the store. I have RA and Osteoarthritis in my hands and I was thinking this would help.My hand size ia average for a woman as well. I type with all my fingers. The way it is designed, my fingers were all over the place and made my condition worse.I tried it half of a day and put it back in its box.My fingers hurt all night after that. The spaces between keys were too far apart.Maybe is a good design for someone that does not have arthritis in his/hands, but it absolutely did not work for me.

What's great about it: very comfortable on hands and wrists
What's not so great: the space bar
I read all the reviews before I purchased this keyboard because I am picky since I type full time. I read reviews that the space bar is noisy and that seemed to be the one common negative about this keyboard. I thought I could deal with a noisy keyboard so I bought it. What I found with the space bar however is that because it is so large and the way it is positioned it doesn't always go down when you hit it and it seems to get hung up on one side or the other. This I cannot deal with. I suppose if I didn't type full time and used the keyboard casually I could just deal with the space bar getting hung up but because I need speed and accuracy this keyboard is not working for me. It is a real shame because it is the only flaw I have noticed. The shape of the keyboard is very comfortable, even for long periods of typing but I am constantly having to re-hit the space bar and make corrections because of it. If they would just correct this flaw to make the space bar a single motion rather than a teeter-totter motion the keyboard would be much, much better.

What's great about it: Zoom button easily accessible
This was an upgraded purchase. At first, the keys were somewhat difficult when pressed; however, now they are smooth enough to where I can type faster. Although I cannot seem to make the favorites button work (I'll eventually figure it out), I love everything else about it.

What's great about it: Good feel, ergonomics, customizable keys, holds up well
What's not so great: Split design takes getting used to, does not survive major liquid spill
Special keys include Web/Home, Search, mail, calculator, CD volume control, Mute, CD Play. Keyboard also has 5 customizable keys for favorites.
Included wrist wrest is comfortable..
Key presses make a quiet mechanical clicking sound with good tactile feel. Microsoft (and others) claim that slanted split design has good ergonomics - I agree.
I bought this to replace a 5 year old identical keyboard, which unfortunately did not survive a major coffee spill. Previous keyboard did not have any issues for 5 years until I spilled an entire cop of coffee on it. Would buy again.

What's great about it: Ergonomic design, amount of settings for height
What's not so great: The zoom can be a hard one, has to have driver for this part
This is one of my favorite of many of the keyboards that I use. Given, this keyboard takes a long time to get used too, but if you are willing to devote the time to learn this then the experience will be very rewarding. One of the only complaints that i have is the spacebar. If you type a lot then this will be amazing for you as the right thumb gives a very hard plump making the spacebar sink. However, if you game a lot then this can be a trouble area as it can be a tad too heavy for the left thumb to hit a lot. For normal typing though, this keyboard is unsurpassed. This keyboard is very wide so if you have small desk space then you need to be aware of this. If you put on any of the height settings, then the keyboard can tend to set high. If you do not have any of the risers on then the keyboard sits surprisingly flat. The b takes a while to get used too as it is on the left side and you are probably used to hitting this button with your right hand. This is impossible to do because of the way that they keyboard sits. You will find yourself being able to last a lot longer typing though and this is one of the best modern keyboards on the market now. The model m still owns everything though, except in the comfort division :-P, this is where this keyboard really shines. So my thoughts are, if you are having pain buy this. If you are trying to learn to touch type, buy this NOW!!!!!!!! If you want a decent keyboard at a decent price with lots of add on buttons, then buy this. Definitely my top pick for price.
