What's great about it: Plug and Play, just have a wireless network in your home already
What's not so great: Almost think that this should have been integrated by now
"When you are in the market for a Tivo and you have a wireless network in your home, then this is the only other thing you need to hook it all up. Plug in your Tivo, plug this into your Tivo, follow the onscreen setup for Networking and get connected to your NEW Tivo !!!
Remember, when you have multiple Tivos connected to the same network almost all of your shows can be transferred from one box to the other."

What's great about it: fast down loading movies, pictures, and cable tv guide
What's not so great: nothing
"When i first purchased a tivo box i had diffculty in getting information with the wireless telephone jack. A Saleperson at BBY told me to use this wireless network adapter and my life has never been better. Now I can get download music order pizza and netflix movies with easy. I am so glad he introduce me to this TiVo Wireless adapter. No more issue with down loading."

What's great about it: No need to run any cables to your TiVo box anymore
What's not so great: a bit slower than if you connected directly
"I have been very pleased with this wireless adapter. It takes away the need to have your modem right by your TiVo or the need to run miles of cable across your house to reach it. For those of you that naturally have your modem close by, I wouldn't spend the money. All it will do is slow down your TiVo when it is trying to access functions online. But, for the majority of people that have their TiVo box in a location that is not convenient to run cables, this is a really great way to go. It is quite speedy for wireless. I would totally recommend it."

"I couldn't get other USB WiFi adapters to work on my older Tivo, but this one worked as well as it does on my new Series 2. For products to do what they are designed to do is a real pleasure."

Solved my problem!

What's great about it: Plugged right in and worked correctly - very easy to set up
What's not so great: Would be great if it were cheaper
"I bought this to replace our existing Linksys Wireless-B adapter that has been hooked up to our tivo series 2 for years. We recently put security on our home network (WPA2) and the Linksys was no longer able to access the network. I was having to take the security off the network ("un-password protect" it) and then manually connect to the tivo service every couple weeks when our program info would run out. It was very time consuming, not to mention annoying! I bought the Tivo Wireless-G today and plugged it right in, went to the Settings page, and followed the prompts to enter my router's (Airport Express for Mac) password. It is now connecting and already working much faster than the Linnksys did. I paid $74 including tax, but I do feel it was worth it since my tivo can go back to doing things on its own just like it used to!"

"Tivo is just awesome. It took twice as long to remove it from the packaging as it did to make it work.
I already had a Linksys Rangeplus Home Network so that was ready to go, although I'm not super-technical for those of you who are anxious about this. I plugged it into my Tivo & Tivo sent me a message to my on-screen message center which walked me through the simple-as-you-like installation procedure and it's now connected. It asked for the password to my WPA2 protected network and that was hard as it got.
It wasn't cheap but it's not much more than many other adapters, and with the built in Tivo functionality, it's well worth the money."

"You can use other wireless USB adapters for your Tivo. However, you need to make sure that the are compatible and possibly the right release. Subsequently, with other wireless USB adapters, you are taking a chance they won't work once you get it home and connect it. If you are going to connect your Tivo to your wireless home network, buy this adapter! Make Life Easy!"

"I literally took this product out of the and used it 5 minutes later. I had to move my wireless router behind my TV when I first purchased the Tivo. With this product I was able to go wireless and move the router out of the already rat-nested area behind my television. It just makes sense. Internet access gives you the ability to download movies, schedule recordings, etc... I love it. But I am a geek. ;)"

"I purchased this to convert my wired connection to wireless. I changed from cable to satilite. It took longer to update my programming schedule than to install and find my wireless network. Installation was easier than setting my my wife's wireless laptop. 5 stars."

"I am not very electronically gifted. I was a bit worried about the installation of my Tivo. I plugged in the TiVo® Wireless-G USB Network Adapter and my TiVo worked with my wireless connection from my computer. The TiVo customer service is also awsome. Just that easy!!! I love it."

"Even though you can use generic wireless G adapters on the TiVos, I highly recommend using the TiVo Wireless G adapter because program and data transfers with it are substantially faster than the generic adapters due to the hardware-based compression the real TiVo adapter allows. This is no small benefit when you're transferring programs between TiVos using TiVotoGo or MRV and you need to move gigabytes of data. It will save minutes per program and hours per month."

"I purchased the wireless antenna, opened the box, plugged it in and it was working. TiVo has a nice way of making their hardware work quickly and well. No drivers, updates or downloads.
The antenna detected my wireless network much better than my PC."
