I already had one of these for my older TiVo and needed this one for a newer TiVo. These are great--now I can copy shows to my computer and transfer shows between TiVo boxes.
What's great about it: Ease of use.

It was easy to set up - a little more expensive than I would have liked. Haven't had any problems with it since getting it set up.

Easy to install; works as intended; have 3 of them with our Tivo's and have never had one malfunction. Highly recommend.

My Toshiba TiVo recognized it on plug in. Easy to hook up to home network. But a computer in a room further away from my router gets better signal strength on a Belkin adapter. Too bad the Belkin won't work with the TiVo

What's not so great: Signal strength not strong.

It works. That's the bottom line. It's beyond stupid that TiVo would not build wireless connectivity into their units. It's even worse that they make you buy an external USB device instead of shipping it for free with new purchases. But, at least it works...

The wireless G network adapter works great. Less wires in the back of the tv etc. Very easy to install.

This was the least expensive of the two options for wireless internet by TIVO.
I plugged it in and it worked immediately. This unit is about 75 feet from my router and gets a great signal. No problems at all.

Unit works well and fast. Though I think with technology today this should be built into the actual TiVo unit.

I already had two of these and bought this 3rd one for the new tivo I put in my kids room love it works well just wished I would have waited a few days as then tivo announced the new TiVo Premier and the 802.11n wireless adaptor.
What's great about it: easy to install and works very well
What's not so great: Day after I bought it TiVo announced a new 802.11n model coming out.
I would recommend this to a friend!

When you are in the market for a Tivo and you have a wireless network in your home, then this is the only other thing you need to hook it all up. Plug in your Tivo, plug this into your Tivo, follow the onscreen setup for Networking and get connected to your NEW Tivo !!!
Remember, when you have multiple Tivos connected to the same network almost all of your shows can be transferred from one box to the other.
What's great about it: Plug and Play, just have a wireless network in your home already
What's not so great: Almost think that this should have been integrated by now

When i first purchased a tivo box i had diffculty in getting information with the wireless telephone jack. A Saleperson at BBY told me to use this wireless network adapter and my life has never been better. Now I can get download music order pizza and netflix movies with easy. I am so glad he introduce me to this TiVo Wireless adapter. No more issue with down loading.
What's great about it: fast down loading movies, pictures, and cable tv guide
What's not so great: nothing

I've never lost signal with this thing and if you have a TiVo box you're missing out on features without the internet features. I can even order pizza now!
What's great about it: Allows access to all the features wirelessly

I have been very pleased with this wireless adapter. It takes away the need to have your modem right by your TiVo or the need to run miles of cable across your house to reach it. For those of you that naturally have your modem close by, I wouldn't spend the money. All it will do is slow down your TiVo when it is trying to access functions online. But, for the majority of people that have their TiVo box in a location that is not convenient to run cables, this is a really great way to go. It is quite speedy for wireless. I would totally recommend it.
What's great about it: No need to run any cables to your TiVo box anymore
What's not so great: a bit slower than if you connected directly
