Works GREAT on carpeted stairs 09/18/2007

"I was looking for a vacuum that I could use on my carpeted stairs so I wouldn't have to pull my big heavy vacuum out of the closet and this one is perfect! Lightweight with plenty of suction for dog hair. I agree with other reviewer that dog hair clings to the filter too fast. Also the dust is hard to remove from the folds of the filter. It takes a lot of tapping on the inside of the garbage can to loosen the dust clumps from these folds. Extra long cord is helpful but there is no place on the vacuum to store. Not a big deal though. All and all, I would still recommend for stairs. You'd have to have a pretty small carpeted room to use it for anything else since you would have to bend over the whole time. Also I wouldn't use on hard wood floors due to spinning brush in nozzle."

Very good handheld 09/09/2007

"This is almost the best handheld vacuum I have ever used. It picked up and loosened ground in dirt in my apartment's carpet that other vacuums could not.

Pros-
Light weight
Powerful Brush - pulled the pile back in stomped down carpet
Strong Suction - it pulled dirt left in the carpet from a hoover upright and rug doctor
Power and size beat all the stick brooms, lightweight handhelds, and Dustbuster's like a drum
relatively quiet for a vacuum of this power - Louder than most handhelds but quieter than an upright or canister vacuum

Cons-
Bag is small and filter rapidly clogs with pet hair/dander, but suction power does not bleed off as rapidly as I would have expected.
Attachments are kind of poorly attached
Rotary brush cleans close to, but not all the way to the wall

very good choice for small apartments - if you are not opposed to vacuuming on you knees, as it stores in a small space, and does the work of a full sized vacuum."
