Good but cold be better

Pros: Works fairly well and no cords is nice
Cons: Not top connectivity and overpriced
"The wireless adapter is a great thing to have and woks fairly well. The overall range on it isnt near the best out there but is good. The not having to connect the xbox with a cord is really helpful but then again the xbox 360 is the only next gen system that doesnt have wireless built in like the PS3 and Wii, plus your paying $100 extra for it which is really expensive since normal wireless adapters are half that price. But in the end its a good product overall that i would recommend if you want to spend the money and dont want to have cords."

"Overall, just a plug-n-play device. Once plugged in, all other wireless computers in our home picked up on it. It did require a little tweaking with all the wireless devices we have, but once we logged into the right device, perfect!"

A great help for gaming

Pros: You can play you xbox 360 anywhere in your wireless routers range
Cons: You need a wireless router, $100
"Before i got this network adapter i had to play my 360 on a 13'' tv, So when i finally gave up one hundred bucks I got to play on my 42'' plasma. Even if you dont have a plasma you can take your 360 anywhere in your house. If your parents are annoying you, just take your 360 somewhere else :). The one thing I hate about this item is that it's $100 bucks. It took me a while to give in $100 bucks, but if its playing on a 13'' tv vs a 42'' plasma I say its worth it. If your biggest tv is in reach of the computer think about it, if not, buy it!"

"This has worked great so far have had it for six monthes now the setup can sometimes be tricky but xbox.com or toll free help gets you going in no time almost thought it was defective at first and the pelican is just an overpriced wireless bridge, I would suggest this to everyone that needs a wireless connection for their 360 just call xbox if have trouble setting it up the first time"

"wow where do i start. I went through 3 of these and 3 routers trying to get it to work. i took it to a video game store and they couldnt get it to work either. i wanted to get xbox live for my son in his room and nothing was going to stop me. i finally got my money back from the adapter and went on a hunt for an alternative. i finally ended up at best buy and found the less expensive pelican brand. went home and less than 10 minutes i was up and running. the purchase of this xbox brand adapter was probably the most headache after buying something i have ever had. i would never recommend this adapter to even my worst enemy."

"This ia a great product for people who have their xbox 360 in a place that it isn't practical to have an internet cord running to it. So for me this save a cord running down the stairs. But if the router was next to the 360 I would use a cord not this."

Cons: I'm about to return my third one in a month...
"Great wireless unit, really works well...when it works. Apparently either a lot of the new units in stores have a defect or xbox's are killing them. First one worked and then shut off after 5 minutes, second one just didn't power on at all, third one however, the red light comes on, but my xbox will not acknowledge that it is connected (i can't even select a wireless mode, its all greyed out). Did some online research and a lot of people for the past month have been having my problem. Maybe the next batch will work...."

"I love this Product! It was Super Easy to install. I use to have a 100 foot wire rapping around the house. Now no more Wires!!! YESSSSSSSSSSSS... I'm a huge Gamer! I play all the time. I was told it could slow my reaction time down a Little but I really don't notice it! I play for Extreme Gaming www.egworld.net on a team and I don't mind the wireless Devices. I would Super Recomend this to anyone that has a router and is running wires through there house!"

"This is is pretty sweet, before I got this I had to run a 50 foot wire throughout my house to my router. Now, I just plug this in and i'm connected!!! It has just as good a connection as a wire!!! Crisp connection with No wires!!!"

"when i got it, it was great, easy to connect, and can connect to Xbox live easily, but it keeps signing me off when i log in. and it lags it with online play even if you have great reception. the price for this thing is too much and there is going to be another adapter and it costs less. so you can get this or wait till the other one comes out next month. your choice."

Cons: Like i said, hate to admit it but its worth the money.
"I tried to go the cheaper route with the other "Compatible" Wireless adapters for the 360 but lost the connection almost every 10 minutes! Then I tried to get a Router and configure it as a wireless bridge between my comp and my 360, that was a process, after all was said and done, I took everything back and got the adapter I was SO against paying 100 dollars for. Then I kicked myself in the rear end for doing all the other things because five minutes later I was streaming video and getting great reception and not losing the signal. The setup is way easy, it plugs into the back of the 360 so the fact that it is white and my 360 Elite is black doesn't matter because you cant see the adapter anyway. My router is two rooms away but it still gets great signal strength, and I have yet to lose the connection with my network ( it's been about a month now) Contrary to my prior worry, it does not have a lag problem with the videos I stream from my computer. I wasted a few weeks trying other Stuff when I should have got this right away and been done with it."

A GREAT buy for the best system

"This cable is great in how easy it is to setup(if you have problems your technologically challenged), the long distances that you can have it connect to( i have mine 2 floors apart. It works flawlessly and quitely, and is very compact. its great for uploading movie rentals...music, photos, and any other media you may have stored in your computer right onto the big screen. Its worth the price because there are no cons known to me yet after 6 months. THis product is an absolute neccessity to xbox live gamers like me...i mean who wants to run a 120 foot ethernet cable up two flights of stairs. I recommend this to all who have xbox 360's.

dont buy the pelican it is the complete opposite of this machine. the pelican is 30 dollars cheaper. Thats where the pros against the microsoft product ends. It is bulky, hard to use, set-up, its noisy and ugly. The pelican drops connection an average of once every 13 minutes. I TIMED IT 10 TIMES and that was the average length of the connection...yes i bought the cheaper one first but i wouldnt spend a single dollar on that machine again. Buy the brand name made buy the same manufacturer...and the best manufacterer MICROSOFT!"

Worst Purchase Ever

"I got this product yesterday and let me tell you DO NOT BUY IT. First it doesn't get good connection at all. My router is only a wall away and it got 1 bar. It also was really hard to set up. After I spent about 5 hours setting it up it didn't even work. Last it's nearly $100. I retured it the next day and got my money back. My best advice, go with an ethernet cable. You will get a lot more for your money. If your router is too far away for a cable, go with a powerline adapter."
