Nice Punch For The Size 05/11/2008

"I am running this sub with the 5 mirage Sat and they are great. I run it on a Denon 2808ci. If you want big bass, you need to play your system at a high volume. If you play it at a low volume you will get a good punch; however, I would recommend to play it at a higher volume to get that movie experience. The speakers are great for music. I believe that they have better sound distribution compared to the Bose speakers."

Cons: Isn't included with the Nanosat satellite speaker package

"The sub is a great power pack of bass. Delivers nice sharp bass sounds. I was skeptical of the size of this sub at first but it delivers a great sound for all type of inputs (xbox, movies and music).

This sub really compliments the Mirage spreaker system and delivers a great punch to any media room entertainment."

Little Sub Big Sound 01/29/2008

"For music this is an excellent sub. It plays clear tight bass that meshes seamlessly with the front channel speakers. This sub can be paired with high quality speakers and compliment them well. When listening on a good system the quality of bass is important and this won't disappoint.

This sub does have some limitations for Home theater applications. The characteristics that make it good for music hiders it some for movies. The fact that it is 8in. and produces a tight sound, doesn't make great for the low rumblings from the LFE channel. It can shake the walls, but in a big room it wont have the same impact as a 10in or larger sub. For a smaller or medium sized room it's fine.
The actual continuous power for this sub is 100 watts."
