Great dishwasher for the price

What's great about it: Very quiet, cleans well
What's not so great: none
"A co-worker of mine recommended this dishwaher to me because she likes hers. The dishes come out very clean but we do rinse our dishes first. (We only have 2 people at home and only run it every few days.) It is also very quiet. There is pretty much flexibility in how to load the dishes in and I can really fit a lot in by slanting smaller plates in the bottom rack."

What's great about it: cleans the dishes very well!!!
What's not so great: non so far
"I love it i read all the reviews before i bought it... i was a little nervious but i got it because they were having such a great deal. It is super silent i do not hear any thing but a little water draning!! I had a weeks worth of dishes sitting in the sink before it got instaled. and it got every thing off i mean every thing! I have never had dishes look so good!! I do sugest you use the jet dry, i have never had a dishwasher that had a spot for it but it works very well!! I love it so to all those others worring about the other reviews forget it!! get the dishwasher!! I have had it for a month now, if i have any problems i will be sure to change this but i do not think i will

What's great about it: upper rack spray , hi temp feature ..

"This was a surpise after I had read some reviews on it as to the noise I just replaced a hotpoint because I was remodling my kitchen well it gets my dishing sparkling clean in no time flat .. and the noise I just don't hear it is sounds like a dishwasher all I can say .. love it think its a great price for one I did buy the extended warrenty .. just in case"

What's great about it: Cleans well, great price, energy efficient
"I haven't had any problems with this appliance cleaning my dishes. Maybe once had baked on grime I should have pre-soaked anyway. For the price, it's perfect. I'm sure for more money I could get something I wouldn't hear - but my vacuum cleaner is louder so it's never been a problem. I love the stainless steel look without the stainless steel price!"

Look Before You Leap

What's great about it: None that I can think of
What's not so great: Has to be run a minimum of 3 times to do its job
"1. It takes an extremely long time to complete its cycle.
2. At the end of the cycle, more detergent must be added and the whole thing must begin again... still dirty dishes.
3. I use Cascade Complete, Jet Dry and Lemi Shine and the dishes still don't get clean. I only upgraded to the Lemi Shine after seeing that the Cascade and Jet Dry were not strong enough.
4. I am sending it back and getting something else.
5. I should have known to not buy a dishwasher that was lower-priced, but I have really learned my lesson!"

"Alright, here it is.. This is the worst diswasher on the planet earth..The ENTIRE earth (the big ball)....It is so loud, that my wife and I laughed at first...then laughter turned to unhappiness, and escalated to the point, where I simply threw this unit out (such a tremendous waste of money) and bought an LG .... I now know why dishwashers cost more...My new one is so quiet, you dont even know when it is on... The Frigidaire, was so loud, you could not watch TV when it was on.... Look, if you have a kitchen 3 or 4 rooms away from where you watch the TV, then this is a great buy...if not, DO NOT BUY THIS UNIT...period."

"Got sick of my other dishwashers inability to clean on first try. Bought this unit and i am amazed! I no longer have to pre-wash my dishes, the towerless top rack is very convinient, it is very easy to load, top rack, bottom rack, everything comes out clean! I have heard quieter models, but only for twice the price!"

What's great about it: Dishes come out spotless. Really hard working machine.
What's not so great: A bit noisy on wash cycle.
"Washes really well with either granulated or liquid detergent. Dishes come out spotless on both racks without jet dry.
Didn't want extra bells and whistles. If you have incredibly baked on hard grime you probably should loosen it with a butter knife anyway before putting it in. I don't expect miracles, just really good performance.
I really would recommend this. For the price, it does a great job."

What's great about it: awesome price, works good, no problems
"I like the dishwasher, I have had it for about a month now. It gets my dishes super clean and I have not had one problem. I have read the other reviews, and I really do not understand, I think out of all of them that were sold, a couple people got a default in one, however I have not experienced any of the problems that they have."

Terrible dishwasher

What's great about it: Looks good
What's not so great: Nothing clean
"I purchased this dishwasher in Nov 07. The thing leaks terrible. Had a repair man out and he said there is a flaw with the seal, have to order a new seal. We always rinse are dishes before loading and the dishes come out dirty. Wouldn't recommend this one."

"If you enjoy doing the same load of dishes about 5 times, then this is the dishwasher for you. That's what it will take to get even the smallest amount of grime off of your dishes. The top rack is virtually useless.
If you have to rinse off every tiny particle of food before you put any item in the dishwasher, then what is the purpose of having a dishwasher? You might as well handwash everything.
If this isn't bad enough, I'm almost certain most construction companies own jack-hammers that are more quiet than this particular model of dishwasher."

Garbage don't bother!

"I purchases this dishwasher in Nov. 2006. Frigidaire should change the name of this to a "dish rinser"!:) The top rack never really gets clean, always leaves grime on the dishes/glasses. I called Frigidaire about the problem, and they rattled off the troubleshooting list to me! Like, I have'nt tried everything! I told them that this dishwasher has a design flaw, and they stated that i should get a professional out to my house to inspect the appliance. Then I told them I'm a Licensed Plumber, they really did not know what to say! Plumbing wise, everything is working:) So take a tip from a professional plumber with his own company, do not buy this dishwasher, the top rack has a flaw.
Maybe Frigidaire can market this model this way, " Not a dishwasher, only moistens dishes":)"
