Pros: light weight, no display to run down the battery
Cons: the ear buds died within a few weeks

"Great for my 6 y/o. She loves the disney music we loaded on it for her. We haven't bought the clips that are sold separetly. I bought myself an mp3 player for much cheaper than the disney one and it has much more features."

"I brought this for my 5yrs old daughter for her xmas and she loves it. I brought her 3 clips and i also downloaded music in her mp3 player. She enjoys listening to her favourite music and its easy to use. Its not too expensive too."

"This was a purchase for christmas from mom & dad. Our 6 year old loves the music. We have I pods and download music for her. She had a couple of the "clips" that we purchased for her that were lost very quickly. We have not purchased anymore due to the small size. This is great in the car. She also has the jam stand tht I would also recommend. She will listen to music with her friends who also want one. Our friends have purchased this for their daughters also who love to listen to music. Great starter MP3. So far (9 months) it has been durable."

"I bought the Disney Mix Stick and one Mix Clip for my daughter's 8th birthday. It's been only four months and she's complaining that she's not getting sound from one earpiece and she takes good care of it and keeps it in a Mix Stick case when not in use. In addition, we've visited several stores in search of additional Mix Clips. Unfortunately, we've not found very many (and the ones we've found cost more than CDs). In fact, some stores no longer carry either product. I wish I'd read a few more reviews to learn that, as other's who've purchased have indicated, the company has not produced very many Mix Clips. It seems this product is becoming extinct. For just a few more dollars, I could have purchased her a smaller version of one of the more reputable MP3 players that's been around for a while."

Great MP3 Player for the 6 to 10yr old crowd 09/09/2007

"This is a great beginning MP3 player for the 6 to 10 yr old crowd who are too big for the Fisher Price version and not quite ready for a more advanced unit.
This MP3 player works like a flash drive for downloading music and is explandable using an SD card. There are full Disney albums available on SD cards that play in the system.
Only real downfall is that there is no display to show what is playing. Other than that it has the same features as other players - play, FF, RW, repeat, mix, pause and stop."

"Bought for my 5 year old! One of the best purchases I ever made...keeps her quiet in the car without the adults having to listen to her music. She also thinks she is a big girl having her own MP3 player. Much cheaper and easier for little fingers than an ipod."
