What's great about it: the songs and the way they are sung
What's not so great: nothing
I was really impressed when i bought this cd. reese witherspoon actually sounds way better than June, shes amazing, and Joaquin Phoenix did an equally amazing job, hate to say it but he sounds better than johnny on most songs. the movie was great and the cd was great, VERY IMPRESSED!
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's not so great: None
I have Walk the Line Soundtrack and I liked the songs by Joaquin and Reese. My favorite songs on my Walk the Line soundtrack are Get Rhythm, I Walk the Line, Widwood Flower, Ring of Fire, Cry Cry Cry, Folsom Prison Blues, Juke Box Blues, It Ain't Me Babe, Home of the Blues, Cocaine Blues and Jackson
I would recommend this to a friend!

If you're a fan of the movie, and more importantly Johnny Cash, then this is a must have CD.

This cd is wonderful through and through. Nearly every track will become a favorite. I really love Johnny Cash, but I really enjoy hearing Joaquin Phoenix sing these songs too. And Reese Witherspoon's voice is so sweet and pretty. My favorites are the duets. I actually enjoy their version of "It Ain't Me Babe" more than the original. And there's a nice variety here also, with two Elvis covers, and the "Lewis Boogie," among others, thrown in the mix. I think anyone who liked the movie would really enjoy this cd. My only complaint is that it's missing the duet "Time's a Wastin". Overall, for anyone who is curious about this disc, give it a try, you won't be disappointed.
