"I could not possibly say enough good things about this remote. It is marketed as just a remote capable of controlling your XBOX 360. It isn't. It is a sleek, solid, highly-functional universal remote. I have it controlling my TV, A/V reciever, PVR, DVD, CD Player, Bedroom TV, Bedroom DVD, and XBOX. It was MUCH easier to program than i assumed it would be. The PC software is user-friendly and guides you pretty much step-by-step thru the whole process. It is fully customizable. The coolest feature about Logitech's new remotes are the "Activity" feature. It allows you to, for example, push the "Watch DVD" button. Your entire system will then turn on/change for you to watch a DVD. Your TV will change inputs, your dvd player will turn on, your AV reciever will change to the appropriate setting, everything else will shut off. You could even program it to have the tray open up waiting for you to put the dvd in. It's sick. Throw all your other remotes in a drawer."

"This remote is great!!! It is so easy to set up. My kids can just pick up the remote and push the button for what they want to do, i.e. listen to cd, play xbox, watch a movie and all of the correct components with the correct settings turn on."

"This is a great product. I have it running my LCD, Dish, Xbox, and speaker system. The feature to use the computer to set it up is great. I can push one button on the remote and it turns my tv on, dish on, and stereo all to the settings I want. Same with Xbox and Stereo. Also being able to customize buttons on the remote is a great feature. I would buy this if you are like me and have just to many remotes..."

"If you have a multicomponent theatre system, with OR without and XBOX 360, this is a great remote. It took me about an hour online and a small amount of tweaking to set this up to flawlessly play DVD, XBOX, TV, HD DVD, all at the single touch of a button. This replaced three remotes and works at least as well or better than each of them.
The only drawback might be the small buttons for Channel up/down, but there is alot of functionallity packed into a slim package, so I'm not complaining too loud.
The online setup is easy, as long as you know your model numbers and brands of equipment. The software talks you through everything step-by-step and the few minor items that didn't work the first time were fixed by the remote when I used it. The remote prompts you the first time if any tasks are not working properly.
The remote is completely customizable, with virtually any function being programmable using the simple software."

"When we bought this remote I thought it would just be another universal remote that would hopefully at least turn everything on and off and control the volume on the TV and Receiver. I couldn't believe what it could actually do! You don't have to punch in codes for individual components. Just get the brand and model numbers of your components, input them and the software programs it for you! If you don't like the way it's programmed you can customize everything! If you have an Xbox 360 and a bunch of remotes lying all over the place you need this!"

"If you have an Xbox 360 and multiple audio/video components then this remote is a must have. The set up is easy, the remote plugs into your computer via a usb cable and the web site walks you through the set up. You can turn all of your components on or off with the push of one button. You can control up to 12 devices with this one remote. The remote senses when you pick it up and turns on the lights behind the backlight screen and buttons. My remote controls my Xbox 360, HDTV, DVR and surround sound receiver. This is an excellent investment that makes your leisure time easier."

"Ive had this remote for about three months. Before I had use three seperate remotes to turn on my TV, surround sound, and Xbox. Now it only takes one button on the Logitech remote and it turns on my entire system and sets everything to the correct inputs. If I have a problem, I just press the help button and the remote walks you through the steps to fix it. I love how the remote senses when you pick it up and and the powerful back lights turn on automatically.
If you have the spare cash and are sick of juggling multiple remotes, buy this."

"Before I purchased this remote, I had 4 remotes that I had to use to operate my Tv, AV receiver, Satellite box, and Xbox360. The Satellite remote would control the volume on the reciever but could not find a code for the TV. After misplacing a remote a time or two, I got frustrated and bought the Harmony remote for the Xbox360. This thing is amazing. I have complete control over all four devices. Setup was pretty simple but it took a while to get it perfect. I had to change a few settings because it would change my tv input when swapping from Sat to Xbox when the tv was already on. I corrected this by telling the remote to ignore the TV inputs that were not being used. Software that Logitech uses to program the remote is awesome because you change change pretty much everything plus if a button from your original remote is not preprogrammed, the Harmony can learn the function from the orignal remote. Again, great remote and well worth the money."

"I got this about 4 months ago and I LOVE IT. I've never had a true universal remote that controls everything for me. It controls my plasma tv, xbox 360, original xbox, surround/dvd system, and I'm working on getting it to be a mouse pointer on my computer. When I heard what it supposedly did, at first I thought it was just another over-priced universal remote. About an hour after having it, setting it up with my computer (it took about 5 minutes), i soon realized this is the coolest electronic device I own. I love the "learning" part of it, because if the software doesn't know what I'm wanting to do, the i point the other remote at the back hit the learn button, and tell the harmony remote what that button is doing.....and that's it. If you want something easy to use, get this. It's that simple"

"The 890 certainly wins the blue ribbon but, for significantly less dough, this remote is much more affordable and has the same technology. Easy setup by USB cable and simple program allowing all different kinds of customization. Also has the same help section which is the most invaluable part of any Harmony remote if you have multiple audio/video components. If one component doesn't turn on when it should, you just hit 'Help' and it asks you step-by-step all the things that didn't work with the macro, like what didn't turn on, and attempts to remedy it. If you're using an Xbox 360 this remote is the one as it includes the Xbox 360 specific buttons, which, on any other remote, would have to be learned into the extra buttons which usually are neither labeled and colored the same way nor located next to the most frequently used ones. Here they're right next to the ones you use all the time Great ergo design, feels great in the hand and backlight is super bright. I've not found anything annoying with it, and my friends with the 890 agree they just spent more and we ended up with the same solution."

"I recently purchased the Harmony 360 remote hoping to get rid of the six separate remotes sitting on my coffee table. After having this remote for only a week, I think that it has already been worth what I paid for it. Setting this remote up is easy as pie, all you need is a computer with an internet connection and the make and model of the devices you want to control.
It's so nice having the different activities programmed in so that when you want to watch TV you only have to hit one button.
It's a very stylish looking remote that isn't bulky by any means. The buttons also glow a very visible green so if your watching a movie or TV at night, it's very easy to see the buttons.
The only real dislike that I have with this remote is always having to switch back and forth between the devices when you want to change the channel and turn the volume up. I have my surround sound hooked up to my TV and strictly use surround sound, so when I am watching TV and the volumes are different on different channels, I am always switching back and forth between devices.
All in all, I would really recommend this remote to anyone looking to help simplify watching a movie and just to get rid of the excessive clutter from all the remotes that your entertainment system may contain."

"I've tried many "universal remotes" before, including X10's and generic ones - but the hassel is the programming in of numbers (or only slightly better, the "learning" an original remote button by button!)... this one BEATS them all... firstly, the programming is done in SIMPLE ENGLISH via a web page interface - you type in the names of the equipment you have and it autofills in all the buttons for you! You can then go and customize and edit exactly how you want your remote to work (ie: do you use your tuner to control volume or your tv?). This baby can do it all - and I bought an X10 adapter so it can even handle my X10 stuff... I especially love the "activities" button - click on "Play xBox 360" and it turns on my movie projector, turns on my xBox, turns on my tuner and programs my lights to dim to half! One button does it all! The only problem I had was that it didn't know that an Xbox could play digital music (it wasn't an option in the drop down box - even tho I use it to stream and play all the music off my computer!)... One call to customer support, she logged into my account, programmed a fix for me and told me to plug my remote in and redownload the new program - VOILA, it worked! Absolutely amazing!"

"Owned and used this model for almost a year. An inexpensive full function, programable, universal remote for handling many devices of different manufacture. Using cross platform computer software to setup an online account for registering your devices, it sets up activities such as "Watch TV" or "Play Xbox 360". Took me several tries, a two tech support phone calls, and a couple of hours to set up all the my components and activities. Most of that time was getting Logitech to create a missing emulation for a "Return" function button for my Panasonic plasma. But the good news is their software engineers did it and the remote does EVERYTHING I need it to. I like the online login as I've shifted computers but never lost my settings. Now I just press the activity button, keep the remote pointed at the components (my wife forgets to do this though my kids remember) and everything fires up. The five stars comes from value for the money and Logitech tech support bending over backwards to ensure the remote worked perfectly."
