What's great about it: ^^^ review title
What's not so great: fairly short
"One of the greatest looking games (when it comes to the body), and also the boxing gloves during and after impact. The blood looks more like silly-string, but overall it looks as realistic as a video game can get. Easy achievements if you are into that kinda thing. The story can be beaten in a couple of days."

Better Than The old Punch out
12/21/2007

"I don't know, I enjoyed this game. It is the first boxing game I've played since the old Punch out game... I think on NES, maybe. For the record I loved that game for the times. The moves on this game are good but it will take a little time in the games training section. I'm not a big boxer kinda guy so I sorda had a hard time figuring out what title I had and what that really meant. I beat it and haven't really played since. I played a friend once but he had never played before so it was a slaughter and no fun. I don't regret buying it and I enjoyed it."

What's great about it: Easy Achievments
What's not so great: Repettive
"This is a good game not great. You can beat this game in 3 days easy. The achievments are really easy. I would only buy this game if you have rented it before or atleast played it. Training is also cool but if you are not good at the drills then you can have the computer do it for you. I would only recomend this game to you if you are ubsessed with boxing or your just looking for a easy 1000 gamescore points."

Fun game

What's great about it: Realistic Graphics, Innovative playstyle, damage effects your fight
What's not so great: Soundtrack, Not much replay value, difficult to combo
"I had a lot of fun playing this game. I've always liked games like Mike Tyson's Punch-Out and Evander Holyfield's Real Deal Boxing. This one has nice touches like having the damage to your body slow down your punches and swelling by your eye makes you worse at blocking. It is good that the game lets you determine how much you heal between matches by having a cut man mini-game. While I like that you have to swing your analog stick to do a punch it makes doing a left right punch fast enough for the computer to count it a combo very difficult, at least for me. So it is a plus and a minus. Still, I think it's great that EA is doing something different and trying to be creative and I applaud that. The graphics are amazing and if you never saw them you should take a look. If you don't buy this game, at least rent it! Btw, if you are into achievement points this is one of the easiest to get 1000/1000 in."

Best Boxing Game Out

What's great about it: Best Boxing Game Out Right Now
What's not so great: Graphical Errors
"Fight Night Round 3 is the best boxing game that you can get for the time being. However, this first attempt at a next gen boxing game was very simple. The modes are very basic and fighting in career mode is really your best bet. The career mode is very simple and has three mini games that you use to train your boxer before every fight that keep your boxer in shape. You can chose your fights depending on what you want more money, or more popularity. Considering that the money can buy you better equipment such as gloves, and shorts. While the popularity that you gain helps you get to the championship fight quicker. The game has difficulty modes and even on the easiest setting you aren't guaranteed victory. The hardest thing to learn on this game is using the joy stick to throw punches and a couple of my friends have disliked the game because the learning curve isn't the easiest. I figured it out pretty easily, but will be honest by saying I've seen more people have a hard time. The graphics in this game are also very amazing as the boxers faces look very real and the rings are pretty well done. It does get somewhat boring that you are always fighting in the same rings a lot. The one funny thing in the game is that you can have the Burger King as your trainer after you win the Burger King fight. The biggest con with this game is the lack of depth in the game as well as the annoying graphical errors. Especially on replays you sometimes see your fist go through someones face which is obviously unrealistic. This is merely visual though and effects the gameplay in no way. Great boxing game and the best that is out."

"This is the only boxing game I have played and it was fun for a while. It did get old after a while and I got boored of doing the same thing and seeing the same slow motion sequence over and over. If you are a big boxing fan then this is the game for you. It has all the new and old boxers for you to use or you could creat your own."

A nice Xbox 360 sports title

"One great thing about FN:R3 is that you can grab a bunch of friends and have a teen rated Mario Party. The graphics are very nice and detailed (even the wounds show in detail). The voice acting is pretty funny yet the music was the only problem to me (but that's the great about adding your own music). The career mode will keep you entertained for a little while but it's really a game for friends to kick back, beat each other up and than make jokes about your game skill."
