They are attached to our TV in the bedroom and mounted on the wall. They're just the right size and the color blends well with the color scheme.

One failed after 10 months...

What's great about it: Good sound while it lasted
What's not so great: Poor quality -- not a good outdoor speaker.
These worked for about ten months and sounded fine while they worked. Recently, one started to crackle and drop sound intermittently. Both are mounted under the eave/soffit and inside a screened patio, so they are not subjected to excessive sun, rain, or insects.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's not so great: They quit working right after the warranty goes out!!
I purchased these speakers April 20, 2011. Set them up and had them working on my back patio high up on our posts right up underneath the patio cover. So no rain, sprinklers, etc, should have been hitting them at all. All summer long, didn't have any problems with them. October 3rd, 2011 I go outside and turned them on, but nothing. You couldn't hear hardly anything coming out of them at all. i checked the wiring, hookup, etc. but still nothing worked. I had some old speakers i tried on the wiring, and they worked! So i called the company because it had been only about 5 months that i had them. The guy on the phone and the supervisor i spoke with later were both like, "sorry, they only have a 90 day warranty and it's been longer than 90 days." Technically that is true, but now i've got to purchase new speakers and you can bet I won't purchase ANYTHING from that company again!!

What's great about it: Sound quality for small size and price
What's not so great: Hoping the white plastic does not turn yellow in the Florida sun.
I am not a 'audiophile' but do own some nice large Klipsh speakers and have a high end Bose surround system. My Insignia speakers are just fine. I had two and bought two more for additional outdoor use and am totally satisfied. I still don't understand the term "two way speakers". Does that mean someone is listening to me?

I use these speakers around my massage clinic. The sound is as wonderful in each treatment room as if each speaker was attached directly to my receiver. They are WONDERFUL!

These speakers are really great for the price compared to the other brands offered and even without thinking about price. I have them in my bedroom in addition to two bookshelf speakers and a sub and they really add a lot to the sound quality. They could be a little louder but they serve their purpose well. They would also be easier to install if they had drywall anchors included so if you dont know where your studs are or if there is no studs where they are going, I suggest purchasing some.

If you are looking for decent outdoor speakers at a resonable price, here they are. They aren't going to shake your neighbor's house, but neither will anything at twice the price. These fill my medium size yard with good quality sound which was exactly what I was looking for. Mounting was easy. Quality of enclosures and brackets are good. Only the included speaker wires are junk. Use your own 16-gague copper or similar, and you're all set.

What's great about it: Awsome range of sound
What's not so great: Speaker cabinet seems to slightly turn yellow over time
These speakers give a full range of sound with strong base tones. It has a nice stereo sound even outside with all the noise distractions it still gives a full range of clear sound of music. Absolutely worth the money !!

Put these in my finished garage. Sounded so good that I bought another pair. Probably a little loud for a 24x24 garage but for the price it's better then spending more on satellite Bose speakers.

it was between these and the yamaha, I listened to them both in store and these sounded better to me. I have these speakers setup on the patio outside and they sound great no matter what we're listening to. great deal, no need to spend another couple hundred bucks

Excellent sound for my deck speakers around my pool. Clear crisp sound, no distortion. Very durable in all weather, had very hot and sunny days, and heavy rain and still sound great. Highly recommend. Easy to install.

Replace some outside speakers with these. Looked at Bose and actually bought some from another source, but they did not sound good at all. Bought these at Best Buy. Easy install. Sound great. Been installed for 2 months in the hot Texas drought. Still sound great.
