What's great about it: very efficient
What's not so great: nothing yet
"the old gas dryer went, and had to buy a new one. we priced out a lot of different models, and this was one of the best for the value. We have always had whirlpools, and never had a problem. i went with electric for the first time, and so far, i am very happy with the unit. it has a lot of options, which is great for my dress clothes for work. the moisture sensor option is cool, because the unit will adjust how long it runs based on the moisture left in the clothes. also bought the washer unit to match, and between the two, my laundry time has been cut in half. my old dryer took a long time to heat up and this one heats up quickly. would recommend this to anyone. best buy also had the best price for this unit, and beat other places by over $100."

What's great about it: it's quiet, water efficient, and attractive
What's not so great: one of the buttons is starting to crack after 2 years but everything else is great.
"With all front load washers it seems to be best to keep the door open after doing a wash load--to prevent a moldy smell. Since I do this I haven't had any issues. It's a great washer/dryer set and a good value for the money."

Great Set for the Price

What's great about it: It is a great set for 2people, good size to...
What's not so great: when stacked they squeak a bit.
"I love this washer and dryer set its very easy to use and gets the cloths very clean.. and it is alot more gentle on the cloths, which makes them last longer, and they dont rip as easily. My husband is a Machinist and comes home covered in grease and oil you name it. This washer gets the cloths almost perfect (besides the stains)..One downfall that i have found is that you have to leave the door on the washer open so it can dry out.. Also it doesnt hold a King size fluffy comforter very well all tho it will wash and dry it you have to rotate it in the dryer in order for it to dry right.

What's great about it: Looks nice, easy to use
What's not so great: Too many mechanical issues
"I purchased this set about 3 months ago. It worked great at first and I was amazed how clean everything came out. The drying time was great,it was so fast! HOWEVER...I had an issue with an error code on the washer after only two weeks of use. I called the company and they had to bring me a new washer. So far the washer still works but now for the dryer....I'm on dryer number 2, both have stopped heating for no reasonable explanation. If they actually worked the kinks out of these, they would be great but I'm shopping for a new more reliable set. I don't have the time to wait every three weeks for them to service or replace my appliances. I'm extremely unhappy with this set."

What's great about it: Matches the washer, quiet, gets clothes nice and dry
What's not so great: The stupid door doesn't stay shut...
"I just purchased this dryer on 4/8/08 and had it delivered/installed 4/23/08. After waiting 2 weeks for it to arrive, I was excited to start using it. First load was towels and sheets. When I went to get them out...door was popped open and towels were still wet. First I thought I had overloaded it and the heaviness is what pushed the door open. They finally dried after I had to basically stand and make sure the door didn't pop open again. Afterwards, even with the dryer not in use, the door kept popping open. And when the door opens, the light turns on even with the power off. I've already called the Best Buy and the have to send a technician out to check it. Not sure if it's the closing latch that is not right, or the seal on the door. Frustrating for a brand new, 24-hour old appliance. My rating may go higher once I get the dryer working properly."

"This product is wonderful. With the large capacity I am able to dry a full load of towels or jeans at one time. This saves a lot of time. My clothes do not come out wrinkled due to the capacity. I live in a condo and it is the perfect size"

Very quiet dryer

"This dryer dries in half the time of my old dryer. And you can fit a lot in there! I like the many heat settings, and it's very easy to program. My only complaints are that the end-of-cycle buzzer is not loud enough (the set is in my basement). Also, if you are drying a large blanket, it doesn't spin enough to completely dry both sides of the blanket. At the end of the cycle I have to take the blanket out, turn it around and stuff it back in for another 20 minutes."
