What's great about it: it works
What's not so great: you can hit your phone when craddled and it will pop out.
It works.... But if while your underway you hit your phone it will pop out. I don't think this would be a problem in a car but I use mine in the boat. It does have a nice strong suction and it is very flexible in different situations.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: That you can adjust the handle
This cell phone holder is flexible and very sturdy! I love it so far.

Device shakes while driving and other issues

What's great about it: Functional, if you are in a bind.
What's not so great: It has to rest on the dash to not shake.
I have 3 problems with this product. It is useable - with some workarounds - but I would suggest looking elsewhere before settling for this.
1st: Because of the 1 ft. of distance between the device and the suction cup for the window, the device will vibrate when the car is moving. Since I didn't want it to vibrate, I adjusted the holder to rest on the dash, but now I am concerned about potential wear marks on the dash. None are showing up, but I have only owned it for a week.
2nd: The phone for which I bought the holder (HTC Thunderbolt) has its charger socket right where the the holder grips it. I can still use the charger while it is in the holder, but I cannot use the foldout supports that are part of the holder's design.
3rd: The suction cup for the device seems a little weak. I have had the holder fall off the window 2 times while driving. But the last time I attached it to the window was 5 days ago, so it seems have a lasting seal this time.
Bottom line: Look around, and if nothing else works, this will do the job... just not perfectly.

When I first got this product, I swear to you, I could not get the thing to stay on my window, with the slightest turn of the 360' portion it would come crashing down. And to be honest I am not sure if it was because it was really warm out then or if it was my lack of spit I put on the suction cup (pardon my grossness, but truly since adding the spit, it has never fallen yet) . So I say, add some spit, and this should work just fine! I haven't had any issues with the grippers losing strength, and would recomend this product to a friend or family member and not feel bad about it.

What's great about it: Grip fits well for a univeral product
What's not so great: The arm is too long for my small car but still works fine.
Overall this product does what it advertises. I have a small car so the arm is much longer than I need but could be adjusted. The grip holds the receiver well and the suction cup holds to the winshield firmly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Held my PDA and iPod
What's not so great: Plastic gears inside it are very weak
I purchased this mount for my iPod and my PDA and it worked very well for quite a while. The first thing to go, however, was the suction cup, which broke off, beyond repair. I managed to mount the remaining part onto the dash of my truck in return. The biggest complaint I have about this product is the plastic gear construction on the inside. Over time, it weakened from adjustments and eventually broke, beyond repair. I would reccomend shopping around and finding something a little sturdier.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this for my husband to put his XM radio reciever on because he snapped one of the clips that came with the original car kit .
It is fantastic !!
It is easy to use, just snap it together & adjust the swivel head to the direction you want to use it. Suction it to your window in a place out of your way & then place whatever appliance you need it for in & squeeze it till it is holding it firmly. To take it off you just push a single lever & it ratchets open & your appliance comes right out ! I Love it.
