good improvment, but seems to easy

What's great about it: new and improved
What's not so great: seems easier than the origional
"this game is definatly a neat improvement over the origional super mario brothers game. they added new features like mushrooms that make you HUGE as the screen and you cant fall in normal holes.
the game does seem alot easier than than the origional, i remember dying alot in certain areas of the origional when i was younger, even playing the game now on the computer (yes i still have the origional nes cartridge so i can legally download it online) i still died a few times. the new one, once you learn about the new levels and new "goals" to defeat certain enemies it is very easy. the game was beaten by my fiance the first day she played it though i had to get her past the last level. the game is definatly neat for origional mario bothers fans and takes a new age approach to it to keep you playing until the end, it is not a port from the origional, there are new levels, items/powerups, and areas not in the orgional and improved graphics of course. great game and worht a purchase for fans."

"this is a great game! You are going to be entertaind and challenged at the same time. If you are not a Mario fan and you just hate him do not buy this game. if you get frustrated with endless death do not worry because jumping and shootin and even using some of the new power ups like a shell you can roll like koopas. This is an awsome game I sugest it."

What's great about it: The graphics are good and the gameplay is Classic
What's not so great: maybe a bit on the short side
"This is the kind of remake that you would love to see everyday not the usual copy paste games from the SNES era to DS , the graphics are great and it has a gameplay that has aged very weel with a few minor twists , the level design remains very good and the sound is great (this one should be played with headphones on ) .
All in all this game just stands as one of the best remakes of all time and a worthy 9.5 in my book"

What's great about it: fun, 2 different ways 2 play with othrs who dont have the game
What's not so great: could hav been a little longer (more worlds) i finished the game in like 4 days
"Wow! This is a really great game! When I play I get in2 the game sooo much! It's really exciting! It's pretty easy but it also has its hard moments.
It's soooo good that there r 2 ways 2 connect 2 people, and they dont even need 2 hav the game. Minigames (1-4 player) r fun and the Mario vs. Luigi (2 players both multi-card and single-card play) is a lot of fun and it really brings people closer 2 eachothr!
*HINT* press L, R, & A at the screen where u choose from the 3 files to play as Luigi. 2 get world 4 u have 2 beat the bowser level in world 2 as mini mario. 2 get world 7 beat the bowser level as mini mario in world 5.
BUY THIS GAME! ITS REALLLYYYY WORTH IT!"

What's great about it: Great game
What's not so great: doesn't save often enough
"I love this game...I just got it yesterday and was disappointed that I had to come to work! The minigames are fun and perfect for when you only have a few minutes and don't want to start a new level. My only downfall for this game is the long duration between saves. You can't just choose to save throughout a level; you have to wait for the game to tell you when to save.
Other than the saving thing, the game is great!"

What's great about it: mini games are educational, problem solving, coordination, basic math concepts
"My kids love it and my 3 yr old daughter loves the mini games and she is good at it, like her sisters. My 9 yr old has one and my 6 year old just got one for christmas and loves it, my 3 year old fusses with her about sharing lol, so this friday im going to best buy and buying my 3 year old a ds system and the same game. Its very addictive cause they are playing it for hours but when school starts up again I have to monitor their time playing. So yes THIS IS A GREAT GAME FOR KIDS. The mini games are good for 3 year olds with the motor skills and basic problem solving, semi math concepts."

"Great game. I got this game for Christmas and it is great. It reminds me of the old super mario on super nintendo. It is different in that there are different things you can get besides the mushroom and the flower. some of the levels are a little hard but to me that makes the game fun."

What's great about it: Great Multi play only need one card for up to 4 person play
What's not so great: just don't have the graphics
"This is a killer game and lots of fun... two kids with new DS's for christmas and they are both playing off one game. Can also link 2 of their friends. They are having way to much fun from the 5 year old all the way to the 20 year old sister... their all having a blast. This game was a hit and the length was a fair amount of time. it is a good challenge and true to Mario Bro's games..."

"this is a great game. the graphics in this game exceed the n64 but not as great as the gamecube. still looks awesome. the gameplay is easy to use. just like in the original game for the nes, or snes. this is a game worth picking up. It will not dissapoint and will give you hours of fun. I recommend this game to everybody who owns a nintendo ds.
I find nothing wrong with this game, maybe not using the stylus at all but for powering up your character, but that can be used buy using your finger. still a great game. buy it."

What's great about it: A modern-day jumpback to side-scrolling Mario Bros.
What's not so great: Not much to do in the game beyond getting to the final level.

"My kids could not put this down! They had a lot of different games and this is the only one the liked. They would take turns and keep trying to get to the next level. They never gave up and a year later they still love it. I played it and it was fun."
