What's great about it: Build and image quality.
What's not so great: Little heavy.
Love this lens. Almost never leaves my camera. Great color, clear images, and great depth of field. I also have the 1.4 teleconverter for added range.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Build quality and its canon!!!!!
What's not so great: nothing
This is what canon is all about, great build quality, fast af, picture quality, and overall just a great design. I wish I had bought this lense first. My bag now has the 3 basic lenses every bag should have: 24-70mm f2.8L, 70-200mm f2.8L and a 50mm f1.4. I like how well the seals on this lense make the overall feel. Its a little heavy, bring your monopod and don't wimp out. I have never seen a quality lense that was as light as a feather, heavy is good, that means there is real glass inside. Now I just need the 2x extender III. Canon Rocks!!!!!!!!!!

What's great about it: Versatlity
What's not so great: Can't find anything I don't like
I've owned 2 different Canon 70-200mm 2.8 lenses and they have both performed amazingly, the low light shooting is outstanding, the focus speed and quiet USM operation is 2nd to none. This lens is the most versitile I have ever owned/used, well worth the money.
I would recommend this to a friend!
