What's great about it: The Features
What's not so great: Price, Quality, Performance!
I literally, LITERALLY, just got home. I read the instructions, placed the tank in the unit, plugged it in and wouldn't you know. THE THING STARTED LEAKING! It started pouring out of the front vent. I have never seen anything like this. I am SO thankful I decided to test it out in the kitchen! I just spent the past 10 minutes mopping up all of the water that just emptied out of the tank.
What a piece of junk! Taking it back and getting the one that was $30 bucks cheaper. What a freaking joke.

Wanted a nice looking and large humidifier for my house. I wish it was bigger, but it does look very nice. The fan on high is a little loud but not terrible.

What's great about it: No cloud of water floating in the room.
What's not so great: When you go to put the water tank back, it can be tricky getting around the filter.
This is a really neat humidifier that we purchased for our son's room. It automatically measures the water levels in the air and turns itself on when needed. Also, it includes a very high tech air purification system that works alongside the humidifier. Great value for money.

What's great about it: Full featured humidifier.
What's not so great: Filter media is expensive.
This is a great multi-room humidifier. If needed, it can put out several gallons of water a day. It can be set to be fully automatic so that it comes on when the humidity drops below the selected preset level thus giving the user control over the humidity level in the surrounding area. During periods of low humidity may require refilling with water more than once per day. Does nor require frequent cleaning.

What's not so great: doesn't last
I purchased this model three years ago. It lasted about 2 years. I was sent a replacement, that lasted less than a year. Wrote to the company and was told there is nothing more we can do.

What's great about it: Large capacity, quiet
What's not so great: Can't clean fan blades or internals, get moldy with age
Found this product listed as I was searching for a replacement. This was my 3rd humidifier in 5 years, and this one lasted 2 years and 1 month.
Good: The large reservoir was nice as it would last a full 24 hours on the highest setting. That was very good for our sinus issues and dry air.
For humidifiers, I thought this model sounded quiet compared to others I've had.
Bad: Impossible to clean - there is no way to clean the blades of the impeller fan without completely disassembling the entire unit all the way down to the wiring harness(20 screws later). 1-2 Hour job.
The air is pushed down towards the floor, which I thought was not very smart.
The filters are made in small quantities, are expensive to replace, last about 6-8 weeks max, and are hard to find.
While the reservoir was nice that it was large, good luck trying to fill it anywhere but a deep kitchen sink with a tall goose neck faucet. Impossible to fill in any normal bathroom sink as all of the water spills out when you try to upright it.
While the motor itself was nice, quiet and held up for a little over 2 years, the bearings on the impeller fan did not. Ended up sqeaking badly as it was running, took it apart and found the bearings had got very very hot. It went in the garbage at that point. Looking for something more heavy duty.

We bought it because the house seemed so dry & since we have a 94yr old father that lives with us we needed to keep moisture in the house. It runs very quietl and efficiently .

What's great about it: See my review
What's not so great: See my review
Last winter I went on a search to find the best humidifier for the price. By "best" I was looking for a big tank (for less refills) and quietness. I purchased about 6 humidifyers from a variety of stores like Best Buy, Target, Kmart, Walmart. I would test two at a time at different locations in my bedroom.
It came down to a showdown between two - they were both performing very similarly as far as noise, tank capacity, etc. All of the better ones had that annoying loud gurgle noise as the water refilled.
A year later am I happy with this choice? I think it's the best option for price. I put the unit in a closet far from my bed so I can no longer here the water gurgling issue. Replacing the filters in a pain, but all of the other ones had filters as well (you can buy them cheap I think on Amazon). It still works.
So that's that - humidifiers seem to have issues by default, and this seems to be the one with less issues.

What's great about it: It does work raising humidity
What's not so great: Water tank too small
I bought this a week ago because of the discomfort when I wake-up in the morning with dry nose. I feel the difference the first night. prior to using this unit, my humidity is 32% RH. right now its 40% which is with in the comfort zone (psychometric chart) though I have to refill the water atleast 2 time in 24 hours which most customers think its negative. for me the more I add water means the unit is working, where else did the water go except to humidify the air. infact the first two days I used it, I refill the water 4 times. Its also energy saving because i now set my heating thermostat 5 degrees lower and have the same comfort level due to increase humidity. bottom line is you have to keep it running 24/7 to maintain good humidity, humidifiers are not like light, you turn it on and every thing is bright. they require long time to raise even 1% RH.

What's great about it: Looks great!
What's not so great: The air comes out at floor level, it gurgles loadly while trying to sleep, I cant tell if it is putting out any moister
I will be returning it! I have used it for 4 nights not happy at all. Motor is quiet but gurgling is loud. Design of airflow is dumb, comes out at floor level. Uses alot of water I have to refill everyday and I only use it while Im asleep.

first one i bought had a noisy fan, so it kept me awake at night. i exchanged it at best buy for a quieter replacement.
it does a decent job at putting humidity back into the air and looks modern enough.
there are some useless features like the humidity percentage buttons. i mean do i really need do decide if 55% too much humidity??? or maybe today i feel like i only want 45% (range is 45 to 55 in 5% increments) big difference (sarcasm)
and the UV light to sterilize the water? is that really necessary? are you going to keep the same water in the tank for 3 years until it gets rotten and needs to be defunken by a tiny light? i drink tap water without running through uv light, why does it need to be sterilized to evaporate into the air?
the mesh element disintegrates after a few washes, even following the care instructions. and it gets really dirty brown, so you will need to wash it often. why does it get so funky? i mean... i purified the water with the UV light feature before it enters the element, didnt I?

What's great about it: It does work
What's not so great: Bad air flow design
The one thing I hated about this product was that it blows the air downwards towards the floor. Well unless you sleep on the floor and or only bought it to keep your floors humid. I did however notice that I would fill the 3 gallons in the am and be emtpy when I got home from work. Not so quite at all so I left in living room on all day and night so atleast when I was watching tv I could shut it off. Im looking for a different brand this yr because I threw this one out last year

What's great about it: works relatively well
What's not so great: somewhat loud; replacements are hard to find!
Bought at BB and used for about 3-mos. A bit noise in a smaller room (<250 sft) so tend to keep in far away or at the lowest setting. Filter was dirty so went to look for a replacement but BB doesn't sell filters - why would they sell the equip but not parts - and said we can order it ourselves from Honeywell. Went to Honeywell website and don't see this particular filter; other websites charge lots for shipping - a month later, still filterless.
Buy a humidifier with reusable filter or get something else.

What's great about it: Somewhat quiet, did adequate job
What's not so great: Hard to impossible to get replacement parts
We had this unit for a couple months when I accidentally dropped the tank while refilling it. I called Honeywell (Kaz.com) to get a replacement tank. $20 and two months later (they said it was on back-order), the wrong tank was delivered. Very frustrating. So I have a unit without a tank. Check out Hunter humidifiers. Built better, work better and good brand.

What's great about it: great settings
What's not so great: not built to last
I purchased one of these and it worked great. There are a lot of great settings. The next morning I woke up to the entire tank full of water on the carpet. There was a slight leak in the where the tank conected to the unit. I returned it and got another one and to my surprise it did the same thing. just leaked in a different spot. If I wouldn't leak, it would be a great buy.
