Pros: Has pre-loaded codes adn games easy to use
Cons: May not work on many computers
"Ok as a 14 year old gamer I would say the action replay is awesome,I first got this a best buy because i could not find it anywhere else (a very rare item if you go to a common store lol) ok so I got this at bestbuy and I thought it wouldn't work because of all of the reviews on this item but i am always up for a challenge so I went and bought it, I really wanted to use it right away but waited to get home to read the info it is not a bad item well ecepted for the little piece that sticks out leting the world that you can't play games. It can help you get thorugh games or add fun to ones you beat numberus time the only thing is that when I pluged it into my pc after installing it and the program it said error like 400 times and when i tried updating it it tried deleting my s*** but other then that its cool the codes are not that hard to add because most of the lines are 000000 lol so its cool"

Pros: Really useful and cool
Cons: If you do one thing wrong, it may not work for that certain game
"I oredered an action replay and was really looking forward to using it so I had looked up new codes in advanced to type in when I recieved it. The first day I got it, I tried to enter a new code manually, but it FROZE up on me and wouldn't unfreeze so I turned the game off. I kept on trying to load the action replay for my pokemon diamond game(the game I was using when it froze) and it wouldn't get passed the "this product is not endorsed by nintendo" screen. I tried and tried and nothing. I tried to load another game and it worked, but the pokemon game did not.
I must admit it is a very useful product and easy to use.
I am now returning it at the local Best Buy."

"This is a great product but not the best.
It gets u all the cheats you can ever want but if u do one thing wrong all ur cheats are erased and u have to reset it.
And if u want to put in codes the easy way u can install a program that comes with the AR.
Or you can do it the hard way by entering it manually which takes forever.
But its pretty good still if you use it properly.
P.S. If your trying to cheat on Nintendo Wi-Fi connection it isn't happening."

"My son has thoroughly enjoyed the action replay! It has made his gaming experience easier and more fun to play his games. He doesn't have to go to the internet to search for cheats or codes anymore. He can just pop in the action replay and get the most out of the game he is playing. He made his friend go out and buy his own so he wouldn't borrow my son's anymore! This item is inexpensive with a very rewarding result. I would recommend anyone with a DS to get one."

"My sons play Pokemon games on their DS and this was recommended to them as the best way to cheat and get some of the Pokemon that are normally too difficult to find and capture. For that purpose it has worked wonderfully, although we had to exchange it after less than a month because the first one stopped working properly."

Pros: comes preloaded with codes, able to download new codes free, let me beat all my old games i never could before i got it
Cons: usb cord doesn't work 100% of the time
"this is a really cool product, i always use it whenever i play my ds. you can update it and get new codes really much easier than i expected. sometimes when im updating the usb cord doesnt work good. you can even add codes by yourself too . the interface also is very easy to use"

"This was one of the best 20$ i have ever spent. All the codes i put in worked great. I use it for pokemon pearl and it opened up a whole new experience that provided countless more hours of fun. If you want to use it for pokemon it will be well worth it."

"I put this in my Nitendogs game and it deleted every thing. All my dogs, all my toys, all my trainer points and all my music. I've been playing this game for2 years and it's all gone. I would never recommend this to anyone."

Pros: Hacking the system and get unlimited things, makes the game easy to beat
Cons: Easy to break, Glitchy, Makes me cry when it breaks!!!!(well not cry)
"The Action Replay is such a time saving game, I use htis mostly on pokemon as you have to train in there, but with the action reolay i can skipped all the training and have all this pokemon without training for hours.
This saves me a lot of time, but it is glitchy and breaks easily.They should find a way to make it less fragile."

"I'd be very wary of this item. I bought this for my son to use with his Nintendo DS so he could use with his Pokemon Diamond/Pearl games. this item worked fine for the first couple of weeks (Nintendo does not recommend this item) he was able to use the cheats and he thought that this was great. BUT one day he turns it on and the action replay doesn't recognize the game. so I go to the website to update and that was 2 hours wasted on something this software can't do and save the best part for last. The website and the software maker DOESN'T support this item. Go ahead and try calling them... So do yourself a favor and save the $20 no matter how much your son is pleading with you..."

"I bought my son an Action Replay after he used one at a sleepover. He is now the envy of all his friends. This little item gives a lot of bang for the buck. It allows users to enter "cheat codes" in various Nintendo gameboy and ds games for advantageous boosts during play. I plan to buy a couple more as birthday gifts for his gaming friends.
