What's great about it: size, touch screen, number of games
What's not so great: button size
"The DS Lite is a nice portable game system. Fits in your pocket without gettting snagged on buttons or latches sticking out.
It is great for waiting in airports, Doctor's Office and car rides. Battery life is excellent, charger prongs fold in to make charger compact.
Great selection of games ranging from sports to kids games. Some games let you play against somone else with only one person having the game. Wi-Fi was easy to set up.
Cons - my right hand will cramp after playing games that require use of buttons. I have larger hands, should not be a problem for kids or individuals with smaller hands. Not a problem when using stylus."

What's great about it: great gaming system
What's not so great: hinge by the power button will break off, known problem with Nintendo, once hinge breaks soon top screen won't work
"This was a great toy till the hinge broke off by the power button, so apparent reason, just faulty manufacturing. This is a common problem with the White colored DS, once the hinge breaks off its just a matter of time before the top screen stops working because the wires are constantly being pulled on by the missing hinge that would have kept the screen secure. Google Broken DS Lite White hinge and it will show the problem. But other colors are working fine, I replaced the white one with a pink one for my daughter and it works with no problem"

What's great about it: small, affordable,fun!
What's not so great: the screen gets very scratched up. the graphics could be better.
"i was saving up for a while but when i got my hands on i loved it. the touch screen is awesome but it gets scratched up after a while. i would recommended a screen protector. it is fun and my parents love it too.BUY IIIIIIT!!!!!"

What's great about it: the games are different than disks, so they won't scratch. Lots of games. 2 or more player games only need 1 game.
What's not so great: Microphone doesn't work as well as it should, but most games don't need it

What's great about it: Beautiful Graphics - has EVERYTHING
"I bought the White and Onyx game systems for my 2 sons and I was really impressed with how far the technology has advanced. My sons had the Gameboy Color for many years and it was time for an upgrade. I compared the graphics to the original DS and the DS Lite and there was no comparison. The DS Lite was the CLEAR choice. Plus it was much lighter that the DS. All of the features that it has make it a purchase well worth the price. I would recommend this system to anyone."

"I have a ds lite and I love it. You can just throw it in your purse or bag and you don't have to worry about the screens getting scratched. I do recommend getting screen protectors for the screens just because after a while the touch screen get scratched up."

"Wow the DS Lite is wonderful. I'm not much into the action/adventure games but I do like the puzzles, crossword type of games. The battery life is unbelievable. I've had mine for over a month and only charged it 2 times(the inital charge and 1 more). This isn't just for kids, very adult friendly!"

"I LOVE MY NINTENDO DS LITE. This is one of the greatest technology I've ever owned. I already have PSP and yes PSP definitely have the better resolution and have more function but the DS is super fun. I like 2-D games better than 3-D (they make me dizzy) so I believe the DS is perfect for me. I definitely recommend this to everyone. Definitely worth it and totally fun!"

What's great about it: Everything! It's really cool that you can link up and play someone- my boyfriend and I go head to head on MarioKart.
What's not so great: Games can be pricey, but I think that all games are pricey, so what do I know?
"I'm 21 and had made it 20 years without playing video games before my boyfriend got his DS Lite. Now I have one too, and I love it. It's easy for even a technophobe like me to use, it's compact, the screen shows brilliant colour, and there is a wide selection of games to choose from."

"I LOVE my Nintendo DS Lite! I bought it several months ago as an excuse to have something to do on business trips. It's very easy to use, has a sleek design, and a very long battery life. Plus, while speaking of the battery, it's internal and rechargeable, so there's no need to buy multiple batteries! The DS sports a handy touch screen, and many of the games currently released for it utilize this screen in their gameplay.
There is also the option of backwards-compatibility, where Gameboy Advance games will work on the DS Lite. Overall, this is a wonderful product, and I would recommend it to all of my friends and will continue to buy games for long after it has become old and obsolete."

"This was a great purchase. I felt a bit childish when I picked it up but it comes in handy so often: in the waiting room at the doctor's and dentist's office, on airplanes, in lines at the store, ... And it is compact enough to fit in my purse or my pockets. There are hundreds of games available so it never gets boring. Plus I can borrow my kids' GameBoy games since they fit in my DS as well. It's an affordable, versatile, fun toy for all ages (especially adults)!"

What's great about it: Worth the money
"I think the DS is great for gamers and non-gamers. I am not a "gamer" but I find plenty of use out of puzzle-like games, whereas my boyfriend is a "gamer" and he enjoys almost any game. Its size and compact design are great because you can carry it with you anywhere, so if you are ever stuck in line or in traffic, you can take out your DS and play it to make the time go by faster. The dual screen and stylus are also fun."
