automatic star locator is a little difficult to be used within the city

this is such a great telescope! It does everything I want it to do, the image quality is great, and I can see all the planets in the night sky. Such high detail, and lens are perfect as well!

I got this for my father and he just loves it, he watches the stars and all the wildlife around his house. Better get a comfortable seat though, you'll be staring in one spot for a long time!
What's great about it: great visual strength
What's not so great: hard on the neck if you don't stand right

The computerized tracking system only works if you live in a State it has preloaded. I live in NC and my nearest region was Atlanta GA and it would not focus on object in sky tour due to region location. This is a disappointing feature.
The telescope does not stay in one place once you focus on object. It is very loose. Apparently, when I called tech support - it has to be loose for mechanics to work properly.

What's not so great: Too loose; digital remote only sets to closest region

The first time you look at the moon with this thing you will see the universe in such a different way. Everything looks so clear and I would definitly recommend it to others!!

It is awosome I saw never saw the moon that close befeour and it was easy to find!
