"I just bought this unit (pair W&D) have used it 2 days. This unit is an auto sensor only unit and wont dry the 1st time, sometimes not even the 2nd (pillows for example)."

Great Dryer

What's great about it: The large capacity significantly decreased drying time.
What's not so great: Nothing as of yet.
"Bought this dryer with the matching Cabrio washer. All I can say is that it's great only having to do two loads of wash every week compared to the 4-5 loads that we did before buying this set.
The dryer has nice features, but the one that I love best is the anti-wrinkle function. Basically continues to toss the laundry for up to an hour and a half (tosses every 5 minutes) in order to reduce wrinkling.
The set is at a great height for me, and I end up folding the clothes right on top of the machines.
Easy installation, and drying time is about 45 minutes. GREAT PURCHASE!"

What's great about it: Drying Time, Sensor
"I have this dryer paired with the matching washer and I am very pleased. The washer spins the clothes nearly dry then this finishes the job...sometimes in as little as 20-25 minutes.
The sensor works great and I very rarely have to add time after sensor drying.
Overall very happy with my purchase."

"This dryer is great! The clothes dry really fast, and they are not wrinkled. It has a lot of choices of settings, and I like that. I have both the Cabrio washer and dryer and they look good as well as perform well."

What's great about it: clothes come out less wrinkled
What's not so great: long time to dry clothes
"The dryer is loud when you start it - sounds like a jet engine (as does the washer). It takes a long time to dry one load of clothes - I always have to dry clothes twice. The wrinkle guard is nice, but continues to tumble - not a good energy saver when you are not home to stop dryer."

What's not so great: wrinkle shield setting
"The only problem I have with this dryer is the wrinkle shield setting. I like for the dryer to keep tumbling until I get the clothes out of it.

What's great about it: the dryer can fit a lot of clothes. it dries quickly, plus it senses when the clothes are dry, and stops itself.
What's not so great: clothes (especially jeans) come out a little more wrinkled than I've noticed with previous dryers.
"I bought this dryer with the matching washer because I needed to do MORE LAUNDRY AT A TIME! It definitly gets the job done in half the time (compared to my older, smaller dryer. ) Also, it saves electricity by shutting itself off when it senses that the clothes are dry. The only thing that I don't like is my jeans and some other clothes come out more wrinkled than I think they should. But, overall, it is a great investment."

What's great about it: Great Buy for the Money, Big, Room, Easy to Use (picture buttons to boot), Quiet, Ultra Modern looking, Dries Well
What's not so great: None
"I am an excellent shopper. I am going to get my monies worth out of everything I buy. Quality and Cost are the main factors when buying. I am going to find all of the deals and will ask many many quesitons especially when making a major purchase. I found the Whirlpool Cambrio to be an excellent BUY for the quality and cost. Not to mention that I got an additional 10% off and got free delivery and free haul away. Also the service plan was the most inexpensive. The other competitors wanted $100 more for a similar service plan. In any case the dryer looks great next to my other brand dryer. It's a really modern looking dryer with all the hutzpa I need - we are a large family who uses the washer and dryer just about everyday to keep up with the laundry. I just love it. I loved the price too!!"

What's great about it: Dries even a load of jeans in one shot
What's not so great: if you forget to turn off the anti-wrinkle it will turn on for about 15min every 30min.

NOISY DRYER

What's great about it: Drys well
What's not so great: Very LOUD
"Bought what I thought was a top of the line Whirlpool dryer. Hooked it up and immediately knew I had a problem. The noise from the unit was very loud and could be heard throughout the house. Ran a couple more loads and the noise would vary from barely acceptable to unbearable.
Took the dryer back to BestBuy and they refunded my money."

What's great about it: Quiet, large capacity, ease of use
What's not so great: Takes a while to get used to the many settings
"Purchased the Cabrio 6200 washer and 6200 dryer at the same time after our 14 yr old set finally quit. We were looking for a set with energy and water savings, but after days of viewing Consumer Reports and reviews, decided to hold off on the newer models. (Shaking, mold issues, etc.) (This set was still high on the list for energy/water savings.) I couldn't be more pleased with the selection. They are a few inches higher than the old ones, but at 5' tall, no problem with using. They do have a "Power" button to turn on before starting, and have many new options that I'm still getting used to, but that is to be expected. Both have a much larger capacity than my old set. Our clothes dry much quicker now, and come out looking great. Overall, extremely happy with the Cabrio 6200's!!"

"I love this dryer!! The Cabrio actually gets the clothing dry in a timely fashion where my other dryer did not! I love the fact that there are many settings to choose from. You can adjust the temp buy selecting how damp the clothes are. The senser is great! I also love the fact that you can turn off the beep when it is finished just in case you have a sleeping baby. God knows I can only get things done when he is napping! It is a lot quieter than my previous dryer! I'd recommend the Cabrio washer and dryer to anyone!!"

"I love my Cabrio dryer. It is so nice to be able to put ALL my wet clothes in a dryer and when I open it they are all dry. This dryer also has some great features like touch up drying and different setting all at the push of a button! The wrinkle shield technology really works too. I never get my clothes out of the dryer when they are first done. Since this dryer has the wrinkle shield I hardly ever open the door to clothes with creases. I LOVE THAT. Overall this dryer is excellent for growing families because it fits everything that you need it to fit and it does it with out leaving your clothes wrinkled!"

"On 12-29-07 we purchased this dryer and the 6400 matching washer and have been most pleased with the perfomance of both units. Great capacity on both and this dryers autosensor does a good job of getting clothes just dry enough. No overheating.
Would highly recommend the Cabrio products."

"I'm glad I got both the Cabrio Washer and the matching Cabrio Electric Dryer. The digital techology is fabulous although in the beginning it took a minute more to decide which of the many settings I needed to use. Fortunately, some of the decisions as to heat level are paired with what you are drying (permanent press, delicate, etc.), although you can override them. Again, the digital timer is perfect to allow you to gauge the end of the cycle. The huge drum allows free movement for the drying clothes and they come out almost wrinkle free! My only complaint is that the dryer cycle seems to finish before the washer but that allows me time to fold and hang the clothes before the next load!"
