What's great about it: Lots to do, easy to play.

"After months of playing, we have gotten all 121 stars with Mario AND Luigi. 242 stars!!! Great family game, my 5 year old loves Mario! Just as good as Mario 64 if not better. Can't wait for Galaxy 2!!!!"

What's great about it: Easy to play yet completely challenging
What's not so great: 3D gets confusing!

"I have several Wii games but Galaxy is, by far, the best one. It's easy to get into from the start but each new galaxy brings it's own set of challenges. I think this game would be great for any age as well; the idea is simple and the game play basic but the game is chalk full of great problem solving situations. I look forward to putting this in each evening afer work!"

What's great about it: 2 can play the game

"Get a friend to help with a second Wii remote and another player can jump in at any time and to help grab star bits and fire them at enemies and sweep aside incoming attacks. You can grab a ice flower in any ice levels and then you will find Luigi in one of the ghost levels.
The game is super fun to play."

What's great about it: Every level is different and entertaining
What's not so great: I can't swim!

"I absolutely love this game. It is so addicting! I've actually sat and played it from sun up to sun down. It so reminds me of the Mario games I used to play when I was younger. And just like i was a little weary of the Bowser boards as a child I am still weary of them as an adult. And when I beat the Bowser boards it is the ultimate reward!.

I haven't learned how to swim effectively yet as I find the controls for it very annoying, but other than that I absolutely love this game!"

What's great about it: Awesome graphics! Never-ending
What's not so great: Only compatible with Wii

"I love this game! The levels are very challenging and the entire game has great graphics. There is a numerous amount of levels, which is good for people who play this daily, just so the game isn't completed after only a few days. I don't really think the game is quite worth the price, though (Near $50.00)."

What's great about it: Beautifully made. Lots of things to do.
What's not so great: Very challenging.

"A platformer is a game wherein, at some point, your character needs to jump from one platform to another and if you miss, you die. I absolutely hate platform games! I am not good at it and it infuriates me. That said, Super Mario Galaxy is just so beautiful and well made that I did not mind dying constantly and having to do levels over and over... well up to a point. I haven't actually finished the game even after 2 years of having it -- but I am awed by the many levels (galaxies), powers, environments and characters that populate the game."

"This is game was OK. The graphics were good for wii, and its pretty fun the first time you go through the entire game. Didn't like the shortness of a game, and a lot of the levels were a bit too easy.."

"this is the best game available for the wii.... if you have a wii then this game is a must buy, whether you are a casual gamer or a hardcore gamer.

the only thing that is not too good on this game are the graphics (they´re good for the wii).... but common, this is the wii, so the graphics are no match for the Xbox 360/PS3, but that is neutralized by the funny and exciting gameplay that you get from this game.... you won´t get bothered with this game.... well worth its price, much funnier than games with better graphics from other platforms"

What's great about it: MOSTLY EVERYTHING

"I think this was a great game. The time it took to beat this game was extrmely long. The gameplay is fun and chanllenging. The only thing I didnt like as much is the way the screen moves when you are on the galexies. I cant wait for number 2 to come out. I thought that Mario 64 could not be beaten, but they did it again. You will have fun with this game and will take countless hours to beat. This is no easy game as it does get more difficult the further you get. I do recommend this one."

What's great about it: Mind-boggling levels - so many different galaxies and levels that are all unique!
What's not so great: Nothing yet, but they need to come out with the sequel soon!

"When looking at the cover art on the front of the box, you may think, "This looks like a kiddie game!" However, this really isn't the case at all. Everyone I know who has tried this game has loved it, even those "cool" hardcore gamers who would normally think Mario and crew is too lame for them haha.

All the levels are unique and exciting and keep you playing as long as you can."

"This is such an amazing game. It brings me back to the time of Super Mario 64 - that game, for the time, was truly revolutionary. It was the game to have for the N64. And now, years later, SMG comes out and lets me relive that time. It has revamped the entire Super Mario world, and does it outstandingly well! It's an amazing game, pure and simple. PICK IT UP!"

"This is a must-have game. I first rented it because I'd heard good things about it, but I wasn't quite sure what to expect. Within 24 hours of leaving the rental store, I was in the game store buying a copy.
This game keeps me entertained for hours. It is easy enough that a kid could do it, but still challenging enough for the adults (i.e. all the additional stars and achievements throughout the game)

THIS GAME IS THE BEST MARIO GAME EVER MADE!!!!!"

What's great about it: Keeps you entertained, fun to play.
What's not so great: Controls take some getting used to.

"I just got this game and so far I love it! At first I was a little annoyed. If you have never played before, the controls definitely take some getting used to. Simply walking around in a certain direction was sometimes difficult at first, but after less than an hour or so of gameplay, I was used to the controls and now they are no problem. Though it is expensive, I think it was well worth my money. It's interesting, fun, and keeps me engaged in the game throughout. There are lots of interesting and fun challenges. You can make it however long or short of a game you want. You only have to get 60 stars to beat the game, but you can go back and get all 120 if you want to. I never get bored with this game, and would definitely recommend it!"

"There are some things about this game that are very much like the old Mario Games, but don't expect it to be the same. There are all kinds of fun levels–flying, swimming, speed levels, upside-down and sideways levels–and once you think you've mastered the game you're thrown for a loop. It doesn't take long to beat it, but once you've beaten the game you can actually keep on playing and play other levels. I'm not really sure how long it keeps going because I have a life. But if you don't, let us know how far it goes."

What's great about it: Great idea, great game, totally worth it.
What's not so great: Final Bowser battle was way too easy!

"This is definitely one of the best games for the WIi. On the one hand it was a little easy, the final Bowser battle was WAY too easy (I defeated him on my second try without even having to try hard!) but I do like that you can make it harder and strive to collect all 120 stars. (At which point you unlock Luigi and you can go through the whole thing again if you like). So technically speaking, you control how long the game is: you can make it short and fight Bowser as soon as you obtain the required 60 stars, or you can make it REALLY long and go for all 120 twice. The graphics were nice, the different plants were varied, and I loved the gravity concept of being in space. The co-op mode is not that thrilling for the second player, but great for you as the first player. Overall it was a really great game and I can't wait for the next one in 2010!"
