What's great about it: Great gameplay, great story, fun secrets.
What's not so great: The multiplayer is very shotty.
"For fans of Mario 64, Mario Galaxy definitely fills the empty void they have had for years. The gameplay is a little hard to get a hang of at first, but once you do get a hang of it, it is a very fun game. There is a lot to do in this game so it is not just complete it once and you are done. There is a lot of playback value in this game. Also there are hidden characters that you can get that make the game even more fun. The multiplayer mode is sort of pathetic since the second player doesn't really do much except collect stars. But for a game that is suppose to be a single player game anyways, I guess you can't really argue. 5/5 regardless."

What's great about it: entertaining, unique, addictive, revolutionizes platformers
What's not so great: Frustrating at times
"This game was hard to put down, even after beating it. It is truly a great epic of a game and every Wii owner has to get this. Co-star mode is surprisingly enjoyable and helpful. This is definetely the best game I have played in a long time."

"Good game really fun...I was playing this with my 9 year old cousin and after about an hour in a half we had to shut it off because we were gettin real dizzy. But durin that hour and a half its a good game."

What's not so great: Some of the video angles were a little confusing for control
"This is literally the best Mario game since the NES Super Mario 3 (my all time favorite game). I'm not a big gamer, but have gotten more into games since the Wii came out. This is by far the best game i've played in over a decade. Its a must have for anybody, no matter the gaming experience or tastes."

What's great about it: Fun, challenging, good graphics, good story
What's not so great: None
"This game is great! I recently bought it and it is by far the best Mario game out there.
It has great gameplay, awesome graphics, and above all, it is FUN.
The game also has a good story, and it is fun to uncover new parts of the story as you play, and you learn more about what happened before the game even started.
It is also nice that the game allows a second player to join in and assist the other person.
It is also fun to use Mario's different forms available in the game, and complete the different challenges that the game throws at you.
To put things short, the game is challenging, has good graphics, has great gameplay, and has a good story. What else can you ask for in a game?"

"My family got a Wii for Christmas and heard all about this game. We went down to our video/game rental store and rented it and I thought I was never going to put it down. The day we rented the game, I went home and played it for a matter of 35 minutes and I insisted on going and buying it. I stayed up until 1 am like 2 nights in a row playing this game. It is one of the best games there is for Wii, if you own a Wii, this is one game that is a must have."

What's great about it: Addictive game play, easy to learn controls
What's not so great: Can be a little dizzying, certain parts are hard to control
"Super Mario Galaxy is a very fun and addictive game. I normally play my Xbox for the addictive Achievements, but I got SMG for Christmas and finally put it in a few days ago. I have not been able to put it down since. All of the levels are fun. There are a few that are a little hard, but over all very enjoyable. You can take a snapshot of your progress and send the picture to your Wii message board. I have not seen if you can send it to others yet, but I am sure that is the point of it. You can have a second player help you out, and you only need the Wii mote for this. The problem is the second player does not have much to do, only point to the screen and pick up star bits, help you jump higher by hitting "A" at the same time as you, and shoot star bits. This is about it. Helpful and more fun then simply sitting there and watching, but not a lot to be able to do. The game play is very interesting and unique. Most of the lands are there own little planets that you can walk on the top and bottom; you shoot from one planetoid to the next and then start walking on that one. The part that makes you dizzy is trying to walk in the right direction on the walls or the ceiling. If you have a Wii I would say get this game. In my opinion this is one of the best games on the system since Twilight Princess."

What's not so great: needs more co-op mode for 2 player
"This is one of the best games Nintendo has ever made. The first thing that came to my mind of this game was seeing Mario standing outside, with beautiful graphics. It was nice to see a familiar character, in such a detailed viewing. Controls are very easy to use, very easy to pick up also. The game does have a story, but the gameplay is what you want in this game. There is more than enough to do, plenty to keep you busy and addicted to it. There are easy levels for beginners, and there are harder levels for more advanced players. It was nice for the game to get back to its roots with familiar game music, and familiar characters. The boss battles were the best. As for extras, there is stuff to do even when you beat the game."

"This is the BEST game that I have for my wii. The controls are easy to get the hang of and there is always a good camera view. The game is not to easy, but not insanely hard. This is about as well balanced as a game gets."

"i've been a big fan of the mario games ever since the original NES. but this mario falls short of my expectations. the controls were hard to keep up with and the movement of the screen in all directions just made my head spin and i got dizzy and nauseas from playing."

What's great about it: Pretty much everything
What's not so great: Story is hard to follow at some points.
"This is like many Mario games. Amazing. This game was not named the game of the year by yahoo for no reason. The game is awesome. The only bad thing is that the whole Browser kidnapping Peach thing is getting a little old. But if they make games this great who cares. This is a very unique game and is a must have for any wii owner."
