Great Game

"This game is excellent. It has beautiful graphics, a good story, and lots of challenging gameplay. It is the first full Nintendo release specifically made for the Wii and it shows! It is very interactive, you use the Wii remote to shoot and look around and you use the Nunchuk to control Samus' other hand to unlock doors and use her grapple on enemies and doors. I have not played much of the Metroid series games before and I still love this game. One of the best games I've played in a long time."

A Wii Must Have

"Metroid Prime 3 Corruption is probably one of the best games available for the Nintendo Wii right now. It ranks with the likes of Zelda Twilight Princess. With its exceptional graphics, game play, and intuitive controls you will be left fully emerged inside the Metroid world.
Even if you haven't played the first two games in the series you can still pick it up and play. The motion sensing controls are PERFECT. Finally a FPS on the Wii that takes full advantage of the wiimote sensing capabilities. The graphics as well are fantastic and some of the best found on the Wii so far. They are vivid and beautiful to look at and add to the immersive game environment.
Overall Metroid Prime 3 Corruption is worth the money and a must have for the Wii. With an exceptional storyline, game play, and control scheme you can't lose by purchasing this game."

"Now, you guys are probably thinking why I rated this game 4 stars. this game is awesome, it really is, the graphics, controls, so why'd i rate it four stars. the online play, what sucks about it that is has none. I got the wii because its the best system but i'd hoped there'd be lots of online game like the ps3 or 360. so of course i'd recommend it to a friend but what with the no online play (EVEN DS HAS ONLINE PLAY IN METROID PRIME HUNTERS)."

"For some, the Prime trilogy just isn't their "bag". They might have become bored with the backtracking and fetch quests, they might have disliked the use of the 1st person perspective, or maybe their views on the games, which are almost universally viewed as masterful by critics, were tainted by nostalgiac memories of their 2D predecessors. Irregardless of their reasons, Metroid Prime 3 is surely a much easier game to swallow. It remedies many of the quibbling flaws from the first two Prime games including:
-Useless trekking through areas that have little to no remaining importance simply to reach areas that contain "artifacts" or other upgrades of importance. This was solved through a clever use of Samus' ship and slightly smaller areas.
-Controls that were arguably substandard. Metroid Prime 1 and 2 utilized a lock-on aiming system that was a bit boring and slow in comparison to first person shooters, but was much more conducive to the platforming that is a staple of the Metroid series. For Prime 3, Retro ditched this method in favor of more traditional FPS controls that, at the very least, seems more accurate than any other console FPS, and are the new benchmark for FPS controls on Wii.
-Backtracking is simply made more tolerable. The artifacts that must be collected to finish the game could easily be found without actively seeking for them, which makes the end-game search quick and painless.
Other than that, MP3 makes novel use of the Wii remote for short, motion-sensing puzzles, which makes it feel all the more... Wii... ish. >_>
I highly reccomend this title for any Wii owner."

Great wii game

"This is easily the best Wii game released this year so far, and might be the best that will release this year. The new controls are amazing, and the graphics are the best I've ever seen Nintendo squeeze out of the little white box. The controls are superb its the best controls on any wii fps which has been the down fall of other wii fps red steel, far cry and etc. I would go as far as saying that once you start playing this game it will be hard going back to two joysticks and a game pad(nothing halo 3 cant fix). The bosses, the weapons, the levels, and the unlock-ables such as a Mii bobble head in your ship are great. I just wish the wii had 1080i support and lack of online play is a let down.But over all this it a great game that no wii owner should pass up."

"Well it was ok, but I had some problems with it. One, I am really good with maps. Scarely good with maps, but this game sucks! You aren't told what room you are wandering into and with all the backtracking you have to do for all the upgrades it gets a little daunting. Also some of the fighting sequences were difficult, not because of the game because of control problems. You can't really look up that well and if the cursor goes of the screen you can lose it for a second and then it won't come back. Also some of the doors in game play don't open as fast as others. This is a software problem with loading materials for the next room most likely. Either way, I cussed this game out several times because of idiotic things that should have been taken care of in beta testing. Either way I would rent this game and test it out before you even think of buying it."

"Metroid Prime 3 Corruption carries on Metroid's reputation of being a fun, lengthy game. Although I was hoping that the 3rd Metroid would have multiplayer or online play the campaign still makes the game entirely worth the money. There is quite a number of cutscenes but they all offer great visuals. Also, almost all of the movements that Samus makes, you have to do some sort of movement or button press to make her movement happen, which makes gameplay feel much more realistic then many other games. If you're thinking about getting the game Metroid Prime 3 Corruption, just ask yourself one simple question...Do you like fun? If yes, then go ahead and buy it."

Doesn't even fall short on graphics as they are great. Developers seem like they put alot of time into to making this game so aesthetically pleasing.

"Metroid Prime 3 marks the end of the Prime series, and it surely went out with a bang. The boss battles are more intense than Metroid Prime 1, and the game is less confusing than Metroid Prime 2. It takes the best of both games, and adds a few new flairs to make it the best game you can possibly own on the Nintendo Wii at this point."

"I was not very satisfied with this Metroid. It was fun to play. But the story just reminds me of the previous 2 Prime games. Teaser at the end, Dark Samus is not dead. Part 4 coming around the corner. the ship is pretty much useless. You never get to fly it. Yes you get to see the inside, but it gets very old, very fast. Upgrades were the same as the other games. No new ideas. Give me some more variety. I do not need over 200 missles when all I need is 1 to kill an enemy. Please kill off Dark Samus and Ridley and get Kraid back into the game. How many different ways can you defeat Ridley."

It's good, but not great

"I have always been a huge FPS fan, however the Metriod Prime series never was one of my favorite games.
I picked this one up because of all the hype around it and I thought the point and shoot would be a great FPS experience.
The game is good, and I would recommend it, but overall its not great. No online multiplayer. Much of the game is not very intuitive in what you are supposed to be doing."
