SynopsisThey may look cute, but there's nothing nice about the characters in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. This fighting frenzy will have you inflicting painful KO's on familiar opponents you thought were your friends. Take your frustrations out on Link, Mario and other characters from throughout the gaming world. Shoot spaceships out of the sky in the Lylat System from the Star Fox games and deal out killer blows in Rumble Falls based on the look and feel of Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat. Hit opponent after opponent to build up your damage meter, then knock your enemies clear off the screen. Rely on weapons that are silly but very effective, such as banana peels, pitfalls, gooey bombs and many more. Hurl old-school crates and barrels or select from Assist Trophies and Poke Balls to strike fear in the hearts of your foes. Combine Standard, Strong and Smash attacks to bash your way to victory. There are so many ways to smash, you'll get lost in the melees for hours on end.

"Best game I own for my Nintendo Wii. I have always been a fan of the Smash Bros. series, and I can honestly say that this one was worth the wait. The game has a sleek new look to it. New and familiar characters give it that same Smash Bros. feel, but of course packing more than a few new tastes! The new one-player mode is outstanding, multiplayer mode leads to hours of fun, and there are plenty of side challenges to keep you occupied and entertained for a long time to come! One might argue that it gets a bit repetitive, but that's a big part of what makes this game so great. It just has that kind of excitement that just keeps you always coming back for more. If you own a Wii, buy this game!!"

"this is the best game i have! i play it whenever im bored or have a free chance. the multiplayer option is awesome plus you can play on-line. also there a mini-game that introduces every character and many many more. it extremely entertaining and i would recomend it to anyone with a wii system!"

"This game is definitely a game for all gamers. You can choose if you want to use the wii remote w/ or w/ out nunchuck, classic controller, or game cube controller(recommended for beginners). Many game modes, including story(play levels) classic(battle pre-chosen opponents) and more unlockables. Different diffiiculty levels for advanced or beginners. My favorite feature is Wi-Fi. You can show off to anyone in regular brawls or team. Many characters including: Mario Cast Legend of Zelda Kirby squad Pokemon and many more that can be unlocked"

"excellent game!!! totally adictive and you'll never get bored!! maybe you would want more wiimotes to play with more people. Its a great game for reunions with friends the only thing i found with the game is that, in my personal case, i cant play with other people on the net, but thats probably because of the masive amount of people. Even watch online battles with other players around the world is fun!! you can bet coins on a player!! totally recommended"

"this is the newest, and almost best wii game. i wouln't say itsd the best game ever, but it's probably in the top 10. there's so muc new everthing. characters, multiplayer, stages, items, minigames, moves, and tons more. minigame sare great top get you going. multiplayer is the greatest in thwe wholer game though. if you don't have any one to play with, then there's online. but the only problem i had was the stuff you get like the stickers. its pretty weird, but keeps you going. but this is a game you have to get if you have a wii."

Great game one of the very best

Pros: Good array of characters and many replay value. Cons: Nobody talks in story mode
"This is a very good game with many characters to choose from. The control are easy and supports the old gamecube game controller. The adventure mode of the game, known as subspace emissary is a great feature of the game. It lets upto two play cooperatively complete a story mode through mass stages. Its a mode where you and your friend try to reach the end of the level and solve puzzles by beating up endless enemies on the way. The fighting system is also really easy for new players to get and similar to the N64 and gamecube smash brothers game. The brawl mode is similar to all its predecessors where you have upto four players/cpu battle it out in trying to eliminate your opponent by knocking them off the screen. A new addition to the game is the online play. I didn't get a chance to play the online edition of the game hence i can't give you feedback on it but I really recommend this game."

Pros: New characters, great solo game Cons: Too much going on in multiplayer
"This is a great continuation to the SSBros series, especially with the addition of characters like Solid Snake and Sonic. The solo game is a ton of fun to play, although it is quite lengthy compared to previous games. Also, my only concern here is it is difficult to play multiplayer with 4 people because of the amount of background action in each level. Overall a great purchase."
