"SynopsisThey may look cute, but there's nothing nice about the characters in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. This fighting frenzy will have you inflicting painful KO's on familiar opponents you thought were your friends. Take your frustrations out on Link, Mario and other characters from throughout the gaming world. Shoot spaceships out of the sky in the Lylat System from the Star Fox games and deal out killer blows in Rumble Falls based on the look and feel of Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat. Hit opponent after opponent to build up your damage meter, then knock your enemies clear off the screen. Rely on weapons that are silly but very effective, such as banana peels, pitfalls, gooey bombs and many more. Hurl old-school crates and barrels or select from Assist Trophies and Poke Balls to strike fear in the hearts of your foes. Combine Standard, Strong and Smash attacks to bash your way to victory. There are so many ways to smash, you'll get lost in the melees for hours on end."

Great game one of the very best

What's great about it: Good array of characters and many replay value.
What's not so great: Nobody talks in story mode
"This is a very good game with many characters to choose from. The control are easy and supports the old gamecube game controller. The adventure mode of the game, known as subspace emissary is a great feature of the game. It lets upto two play cooperatively complete a story mode through mass stages. Its a mode where you and your friend try to reach the end of the level and solve puzzles by beating up endless enemies on the way. The fighting system is also really easy for new players to get and similar to the N64 and gamecube smash brothers game. The brawl mode is similar to all its predecessors where you have upto four players/cpu battle it out in trying to eliminate your opponent by knocking them off the screen. A new addition to the game is the online play. I didn't get a chance to play the online edition of the game hence i can't give you feedback on it but I really recommend this game."

Great continuation of the series

What's great about it: New characters, great solo game
What's not so great: Too much going on in multiplayer
"This is a great continuation to the SSBros series, especially with the addition of characters like Solid Snake and Sonic. The solo game is a ton of fun to play, although it is quite lengthy compared to previous games. Also, my only concern here is it is difficult to play multiplayer with 4 people because of the amount of background action in each level. Overall a great purchase."

What's not so great: Trouble with online play
"This is the best game on the Wii. It has great multiplayer action and even has some pretty good single player challanges. The only problem I've had is some lag in online play, but even without online gaming this would still be a must have for the Wii."

What's great about it: Great game made for hard core gamers, great graphics, good single player.
What's not so great: Gets old quick, need friends to enjoy fully, online Multiplayer not reliable
"This is the game we have been waiting for. This is one of the only games on the Wii for gamers instead of its usual target audience of everyone. This game is a accentual addition to any gamers collection. The multiplayer is somewhat unclean when playing online, but with friends the options are abundant. It is more than just the old smash bros with better graphics it has many new options and game mode, and a single player story that doesn't disappoint.

95% recommended for experienced gamers. A necessary addition to your Wii Collection."

What's great about it: Wonderful graphics cool new charachters many new levels with old levels
What's not so great: Poor online play.
"This wonderful game is the greatest thing nintendo came up with. Many new charachters however some older charachters i used are no longer there like Roy. Tons of fun with friends then single player but overall good. Not to happy with the online play. Me and my buddy play online with road runner connection speed and still a bit slow just me and him playing. Love the idea able to use the old nintendo gamecube controllers to play this game. too hard to use the wii remotes with this game."

"Truly if you are looking for that classic play you used to have with the older versions of this game with a little bit more edge, you've found it, although online play sucks. There isn't much to go on. Offline however is amazing and has features some users have been waiting for."

"I love this game. It is a little tricky to pick up on at first, but there are some nice tutorials to help you out. It didn't take me long to get decent enough and confident enough to play against others. It's a lot of fun."

"Tons of fun with frends, lots of maps, map creator, classic maps from Melee, classic characters, new characters to SSB series, tons of unlocks, u can film videos and then upload them (via SD memory card) and lots of other feaures, for only $49.99, cheaper than most games.
Cons-
online mode, wat what do u expect, nintendo doesnt have good online, but at least it has it, its still pretty fun, and u can play with frends (if u have thr freind code that is)
All in all, best game for wii"

What's great about it: Graphics, attacks, characters, weapons...I could go on.
What's not so great: Tough to learn at first.
"The game itself was great. It took some time to learn the attacks and how to operate the characters at first (I recommend focusing on one character at a time to learn their attacks and abilities). The graphics were great and the game itself provides tons of action sequences, no round will ever be the same twice.
My only gripe is that I played on a non-HDTV (a standard), and it kind of screwed up the resolution a bit...permenantly. I don't recommend playing on a non HDTV tv. Otherwise, if you stick with it and remain patient, you'll be good to go."

"This is simply the best in the Super Smash Bros. series. It has new characters, new stages, etc. I love the online gameplay. It is so much fun. It also has several new Solo modes that will entertain for hours on end. Overall, it's an awesome game and should be purchased as soon as possible."

"I was always a fan of Smash Bros 2, and this, I would say, is not quite up to par with #2, but it comes close. You do, however, have a wider variety of characters, better graphics, and a more interpersonal playing style. Pretty fun game, all in all."
