What's great about it: Fast Paced Online Action
What's not so great: No Single Player
"I love this game. Incognito has finally fixed the ranking problems encountered early in the game's release. I did not think that I would enjoy this game as much as I do as I am usually terrible against other players online. I initially rented it out of curiosity only to discover that I was not too bad at it (Never 1st place, but never last place, usually right in the middle). At RFOM I'm awful, always last. If you're skeptical rent it first, but I guarantee you will enjoy this title."

"Warhawk is by far the best online game for the ps3 if you buy it in stores it comes with a bluetooth headset worth $40 you can rank up your stats. Another cool feature is you can make clans finaly a ps3 game were you can do that. Overal it is a great buy."

"This game is so fun! The multiplayer is great offline and online. Beautiful graphics and great sound effects! SIXAXIS ability can be toggled on and off. With so many players and extras, (including the bluetooth headset, in which you can communicate to fellow players) this game will be a favorite among gamers for a very long time."

"The game is hot the only possible bad thing that I can come up with is that there really is no off-line single player action. Aside from that whats not to love and I never have a problem getting on line to play and at any given time there are litteraly hundreds of rooms to play in. A very good buy."

"I was not sure what to think when I first played Warhawk. I beleaved it would be hard to live up to the hype that has been surrounding this title since first announced. But once a person has tried this game , its hard to resist not putting down your controller. You con fight versing enemies on foot, multiple land vehicles, and in the air. The game is impressive on multiple levels, my only regret in not being able to switch between first person and third person view more often than just using the sniper rifle. Great game, For multiple players."

"a game worth buying on the ps3. granted its online only, but still. doesnt really matter that its missing an offline campaign. Which means that you cant play unless youre signed onto the internet and youre on the playstation network. Theres been some minor bugs in the game, but they're getting fixed through updates. Makes it even better that they're going to add extra content to the game thru the playstation network also.
With online games you usually have to worry about how many people are playing too. Well, over 100k people have the game and are on the leaderboards. its cool because theyve also implicated a stats system into the game too. The more points you get the better your badge gets then the more customizations you can make to your guy and his plane."

"This game has to be one of the most addicting ones that I have played in a while. The learning curve is big for the first couple of hours, but after that you should be racking up points like the best of the best. The intensity of the many battles that await on the hundreds of online servers is definitely worth it. The inability to play in single game missions definitely leaves some room for improvement, but not enough to leave this title on the shelf."

"I've been waiting for this game since the showing of E3. By far, this is one of the BEST PS3 game I've played. The game's graphics are 8.8 to me but game play is 9.3. It is extremely addicting and battling with 31 other players is insane. There's a small network problem when it first came out but sony's already fixed it. Overall I give this game a 9.2. Don't miss this title!"

Great game - almost

"I agree with everything positive people have said about this game. I just want to cover a few annoying things...
First, sometimes it takes me 30-40 mins to join a game - for example, it shows 8 people in with maximum of 12 - but when I try to join - it says the game is full. I wish they would adopt the Resistance model and place people in the game automatically instead of me having to scroll down and look at several hundred games trying to find one that is actually available.
Second, when a person hosting a game decides he/she doesnt wanna play anymore - it ends the game for everybody, and then see above - sometimes I have to spend another 30 mins to find the next game that is not full. Again, when the same thing happens playing Resistance - they just switch to a different server - the game doesn't end for everybody. I like that approach better.
Third, hard to find ranked games - I think in 2 weeks I've only played two of those.
And last but not least - my PS3 started to freeze pretty often - courtesy of Warhawk. I downloaded the latest firmware update, and it helped a lot, but not 100%....
All in all - this is the best PS3 game I've played yet, and I hope they will fix most of the bugs and improve the interface a bit"

"Well, maybe I get too philosophical or deep with the title of the review but think about it just for a second. Okay moving on. This game kicks virtual (insert expletive here). Remember the joys of Star Wars Battle Front, this title reminds me of that wonderful bit of gaming goodness. I just picked up my PS3 and this title, and all I think is too quote Tom Cruise's partner Goose from Top Gun, "Great balls of fire!" The multi-player mayhem on the ground, in tanks, manning turrets, and taking flight is something to behold. The landscapes and smooth frame rates are a joy to witness. I only wish I could spend some off-line time practicing my flight and dog fighting skills, but that is a minor detail. The game rocks!"
