What's great about it: Value for the price
What's not so great: Assembly
I am not sure what some expect for this price but this delivers. It's not solid walnut but you can't resonably expect that for this price. It is far better than Sauder. Buyers please note: this is extremely difficult & cumbersome to assemble. The directions consist of pictures/diagrams only & while some of the parts are identified by a sticker, not all are (like the screws, etc.). It took 2 of us around 6 hours to complete! In the end, we had 1 door slide that was defective but 1 simple call to Bush Industries & they had a new one FedExed to us.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Good value.
Bought 2 returns and 2 lateral files to go with 2 desks I bought for our home office. Both returns were shipped to our house and when opened, were damaged. Both lateral files were also shipped to our house and were damaged. Called Bush Furniture to help with replacing the pieces and was told that if the damage was more than 50% of the item, return the item to the store and try again. Well, we returned the items to the store, but did not try again. I think the reason the items were damaged was because of bad packing, not bestbuy or the UPS guy, so we did not try again. Desks came in pretty good conditions and only needed 2 pieces replaced because of damage. Oh yeah, the instructions were only in pictures, no words. So you really had to concentrate on them. Good value for the money if they were not damaged.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Best buy was very good with its shipping a return credit
What's not so great: way too heavy, unappealing looks when you see it upclose.
This desk is a heavy chunk of compressed wood with very thin layer of plastic coloring that chips very easily. The appearance of the wood is very plastic-like and unnatural. I ended up returning it without even assembling it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
