WarioWare: Smooth Moves: Nintendo Wii

Model: UPDATE
SKU: 7917436
UPC: 045496900038
Synopsis Wario stumbled into an old building called the Temple of Form, and while inside, he discovered a mystical treasure: the Form Baton. Legend has it that if the holder follows the Baton's forms, he can overcome any challenge. Before long, everyone will want to master these moves. Get down in more than 200 lighting-quick micro games using the revolutionary Wii Remote. Watch as the mayhem ensues while you and your friends try to complete a zany mixture of tasks before your time is up. Perfect your penchant for scribbling, flailing, slashing, turning, shaking and more to walk away victorious. With the wave, shake or point of your like-magic wand, the winner's circle is a mere arms-length away. The featured activities are so over the top, they could only be mastered with the next-generation Wii Remote. Crank the Remote in a circular motion, jog in place while flailing your arms up and down, slash objects in half, pump air into a balloon, spin a hula hoop, turn a key or shake bugs off a banana in less time than the competition, and you'll be champ. The lengthy list of games are as much fun to watch others play as they are to play yourself — just be sure to leave your inhibitions at the door.

The storyline is clearly other-culture, but despite the storyline randomness, both I (age 29) and my sisters (ages 10-18) have had hours of fun playing the random games and trying to improve our skills with the Wii Remote. And the voice-overs are HILARIOUS!!!
What's great about it: Easy to pick up anytime & funny
What's not so great: Randomness of it all.

WarioWare is an excellent game for any party occasion, and I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a fun and wacky time with the Wii. However, single player mode is often very lonely, and you find yourself repeating the same theme (fast paced microgames for each character stage) over and over again... the fun is doubled when there are friends there to spontaneously break out into dance with you. WarioWare is a creative and fun game that is great for all ages and is a fun time, anytime.
What's great about it: is an excellent party game, perfect for large events, crazy and wacky, fast-paced and unpredictable
What's not so great: is short, no distinct storyline, repetitive theme

gameplay gets fun but they're so short and the pace and graphics are so fast.
i don't htink it lives up to the hype as to when it was first released but still fun nonetheless
oh ya, don't buy this game for the graphics, it'll let you down.
What's great about it: fun gameplay
What's not so great: shallow storyline if any...

There are tons of silly little games in Smooth Moves, and the graphics and story delivery are unique and wonderful. This game is great for parties and kids are sure to love it.
My only complaints are 1) you only use one Wiimote, which makes things difficult when you only have a few secodns to pass it between people, and 2) $50 is too expensive! These microgames, as they put it, are lots of fun, but the price tag is too expensive. Save this game for a rental when friends come to visit.
What's great about it: great game when playing with friends
What's not so great: too expensive

Smooth Moves is bascially about 200 3 second minigames shot at you rapidly. You must beat all of these games to unlcock poses, multiplayer, and more minigames. Has references to games such as Mr. Game and Watch, Zelda, and Super Mario Bros.
What's great about it: Great games
What's not so great: none

This game is fun for big groups as it lets everyone get in on the action and its fun to watch others play. My friend has 2 younger children that have a hard time playing this game, so I would say its more for older kids and adults. As an added benefit this game stays enjoyable for a longer time because it has so many variances and mini games.
What's great about it: Fun for big groups
What's not so great: Hard for younger kids

I tried this game and I thought it would be a little more fun than it is. The mini games are fun but really short. You don't have time to enjoy them. I was dissapointed. I wouldn't recomend this to a friend.

What's not so great: boring really fast

The biggest bummer is that this game is only one person at a time but reguardless it is a very fun game! Playing the game you learn different ways to hold the wii-mote such as the ninja, the elephant, draw and many others and its like being a part of a cartoon! Fun game, after playing this game, an individual would not trade it in.
What's great about it: multiple mini games, fun with a group
What's not so great: Only one person

This was the first Wii game I bought. I had already owned Warioware for the gamecube so I knew what I was getting into. This game is extremely funny. The parts that explain how to use to Wii remote will have you cracking up. Very humorus to watch people play, especially when the the game requires you to put the Wii remote on your nose. A+, this is what the Wii was made for.
What's great about it: hilarious
What's not so great: horrible story, but who cares!

I love this game! Totally hilarious, silly, crazy everyday antics placed with japanese graphics. There are some old school mario and games that throw homage to the snes system. You will look silly and totally get into this game. The music is catchy and I even get so angry sometimes when i am trying to complete a mission. You have to beat single mode before unlocking multi-player so get the game and prepare to dance, squat, drink, lift and samurai your way through.
What's great about it: lots of microgames
What's not so great: none

This game is a riot! You will laugh at everyone else and they will laugh at you. Great way to break the ice with people who are Wii-phobic as everyone looks equally silly and dumb. Fast-paced and entertaining - be careful you will lose track of time.
What's great about it: Quick, fun, silly mini games
What's not so great: Can't think of any

Okay. First things first. This game requires that you throw away your "cool" factor. Mainly, because you look like a fool when you play it, LOL! However, this game is extremely addictive. Its Wii remote control scheme is different from anything that's known so far. If you're looking for a great party or family game, this is it. This game is great because everyone can move the Wii remote in the desired fashion, it just depends on reaction time.
Believe it or not, my favorite part of the game is the side game Blocks, which is highly addictive and entertaining.
In conclusion, I highly recommend this game to be purchased by any Wii owner.
What's great about it: VERY, VERY, VERY different
What's not so great: can be beat kinda soon

This game is quick, fun, and at time quite challenging. The basis of the WarioWare games is you have about 5 seconds to figure out how to complete a game full of mini-games. The control schemes are wakcy and fun, and this game will have you laughing out loud. Bright colors and looks great with the optional component cables and an HD TV. You will have hours of fun with this Nintendo Title.
What's great about it: Totally wacky and great to watch and play
What's not so great: This game would be awesome if it was mulit-player

This game was one I hesitated with at first but am really glad I bought. There are tons of games and ways the Wii remote is used makign it not only fun but exciting too. After you beat the single player mode you unlock the multi-player mode, which is the real reason I got the game. Battling another person is the best part of the game and these battles can go on for hours if you let them. Besides, the single player mode wasn't at al hard to beat.
What's great about it: Endless mini-games and great multi/single player modes
What's not so great: Need to beat single player mode before unlocking multi-player

This was the game I played when I got my wii, and it is still my favorite. All you do in the single player is just go through all of these people's mini-stories, and then play a series of mini-games (15) to get through them. The mini-games go so fast, and at the beginning you really struggle to get the hang of them, but once you do it's addictive. This was my first time with the WarioWare series, and I was not disappointed. Get it! You might want to wait until the price goes down, but either way it is worth the money. You don't have a soul if you don't bounce to the beat on some of the songs, and get into it. My mom, who has never played a game system until the wii, really likes it. GET IT!
What's great about it: Super fun and fast paced, great mini-games
What's not so great: Too Short!
