What's great about it: Everything, its a Final Fantasy game. Whats not to love
What's not so great: The wait on the release date
"I started playing the Final Fantasy series with FF7 and every since then, Square Enix has yet cease to amaze me... except FF X 2 and FF XI. I can not wait until the release of FF13 and FF verses 13. That is the only reason why I will buy a PS3"

What's great about it: It's From Square it is going to be good
"For those who don't know, Final Fantasy XIII has 3 pieces, all of which take place in the same universe, but in a different location and time.
Final Fantasy Versus XIII
Final Fantasy XIII
Final Fantasy Agito XIII
This of course is the 1st installment. Final Fantasy XIII is slated for release in 2010. I hope this clears up any confusion, which is the one we see footage of all over the web. Details of the other two have been well not that well publicized in the US. You can find some info on WIKI with links to Versus and Agito's Japanese websites. You will need to set your browser to translate the webpages for you if applicable."

What's not so great: who knows yet
"First, this game looks awesome and I can't wait for it to come out.
Second, who knows when it's actually coming out. Do not believe the release date they have there. Square-Enix (the people who make FF's) have said the very earliest it will be out in North America and Europe is after April of 2010, and depending on when it is released in Japan may not be out until after April of 2011. Hopefully it's like all other FF's and worth the wait though."

What's great about it: Looks amazing not many games ever top the Final Fantasy series
What's not so great: Who knows
"This will more than likely be one of the best games going to come out for the PS3 before they bring out the PS4 XD. I'm recently just getting into the FFXI MMO and its looking sweet too! BB doesn't have it for 360 though :'( All FF games have been great from day one. Keep up the great work Square Enix!"

What's great about it: Awesome looking game, great detail to a futuristic city
What's not so great: Wait and see
"This is Final Fantasy versus XIII which means the main character is a guy. The game uses the White Engine which is supposed to use six out of eight of the cell processors in the PS3. Square-Enix always uses high quality sound which means it will more than likely have 7.1 Dolby Digital as an option. This is not a classic RPG style game. This one will play more like Kingdom Hearts if you want a decent reference. Nothing is really known about the story yet. This is one of two Final Fantasy XIII games coming out for the PS3. I am looking forward to this game's release."

Love the FF game! Love it!

What's great about it: Amazing use of the ps3's horsepower, new fighting system, 1 of 2 final fantasy games to come out in the same month
What's not so great: not much i can say right now
"If you have seen the trailers to this game then you know how great it looks. This installment of the game seems to fully use the ps3's horsepower as much as it can. The graphics are amazingly detailed. With so much space on the disk, Square-enix developed a new fighting style on the game which catches every single movement that the character makes. The pink haired character from the other final fantasy installment seems to look like Yuna from Final Fantasy X and X-2 but she could be someone else. If you loved the others Final Fantasy games; then you will love this game."

Although this is just one of the two games that Square-enix is making for the ps3, versus is being developed by the same people that made kingdom hearts and final fantasy VII: Advent Children so we can expect to see more in this version than the other final fantasy. Both of the games are said to be set in the same universe but happening at different times. The pink haired character from the other final fantasy installment seems to look like Yuna from Final Fantasy X and X-2 but she could be someone else. Both games seem to be great so we can expect to see more of these games soon and hopefully there will be some sort of limited edition that comes with both games and more, so be on your toes fanboys."
