What's great about it: sound quality, color
What's not so great: scratches easily, gig bag, high closs
I had this guitar for about 1-2 years.
It has really good sound qualities, but strings are kind of average. To me, its been durable and i've only had to replace the high e string twice. I really hate the gig bag because it only has one opening to slot in. The color is sleek, but its a very high gloss and fog and scratches are very noticeable. Shipping and handling was great. It easily gets scratched, so isn't good for children 0-10 years. Overall, I would totally continue using it as it is worth the price.

What's great about it: Sounds great!
What's not so great: The strings and pins that hold them are junk.
This guitar comes with maybe the worst set of strings on it of any instrument I have ever purchased. The pins that hold the strings in place are also very cheap. After both of those problem were remedied, this guitar plays very well. It has a full sounds, with no ringing or buzzing. Could honestly be played on stage and probably would stand up to the torture. Action is a little bit high, but can be adjusted with ease. Overall a great guitar for the price!

What's great about it: only for a VERY beginner guitar
What's not so great: poor quality strings and tuning pegs that slip
The strings are poor quality and I am having them restrung, the neck looked at and the tuning pegs tightened as they are loose but after this is finished it should play well for my son...or before/after spending this $25 I may trade it in for a better one for him. I would go to a guitar shop next time. The body of it is sound but due to the cheap strings, we haven't had the chance to truly hear the sound quality.

What's great about it: nice guitar
It is a really nice guitar. The free lessons is certainly a wonderful added bonus. This was a Christmas gift for my husband, which was supposed to be a surprise however when it was delivered, it was not boxed or wrapped. It was in its original box with a picture of the guitar on it! I was very disappointed.

What's great about it: Price
What's not so great: Gig bag does not have pockets for picks, extra strings, etc.
Extremely nice looking guitar. I had to retune the guitar out of the box, but would have anyway. Any guitar that is used for practice or playing gigs will have to be retuned as strings loosen due to use. It has a great sound and easy to hold and play. I would recommend this guitar to anybody looking for a second guitar or a beginning guitar as it is easy on the billfold up front and should give you many hours of trouble free playing with proper care. Thanks Gibson for a entry level guitar at a reasonable price. The gig bag could have been made much better with a zipper around base of guitar box up to the neck instead of just at the end of box.

Item broke when doing initial tunning. Quality looked good in the store, but when box was opened and item removed and began playing, it needed tunning. When tunning one string holder broke completely off.

What's not so great: unable to redeem lessons i was promised
I am having problems trying to book the lessons that came with the purchase. They sent an email and left off the redemption code. I went to closest Best Buy store and the manager said he couldn't give it to me and i had to call. A very helpful employee called for me and was on the phone for 90 minutes to no avail. They finally gave him a claim number and i left with no code. It took another week before they emailed me the code, Then i tried to book the lessons on line thru the Best Buy website and it wasn't working. A day later i received an email to call and all that got me was a voicemail telling me to leave my number and they will call me back. so i still have not been able to book the lessons that i was promised. I will never purchase any thing like this again thru best buy since this was a gift and i have been totally embarrased by this whole ordeal and have had to spend too much personal time trying to get what i was promised,

What's great about it: Looks and feel
What's not so great: Strings
This is a really beautiful guitar. It was bought as a gift for my son. I know nothing about playing the guitar but my husband and son have both played for MANY years so these are their comments: good feel in the hands, the fret feels good when moving up and down, great sound AFTER new strings were purchased. Actually, that's the only negative I've got, the strings that come with the guitar don't have the best sound quality. All in all, a super value for a really nice instrument.

What's great about it: Sound, Price, Extra's
This is a nice beginner acoustic guitar. My son and I have several guitars but he needed an acoustic so I saw this one for a great price and it came with extra strings, a gig bag and picks. Lessons were also included but we haven't used them yet. This is a guitar anyone can pick up and play and it has a nice sound.
